Well this is the last chapter but it's 5500 words long. I also must warn you of some language in here.

Divine Intervention

Chapter 14 Back for Revenge

Since Eragon was in control of the great majority of Kuthian’s powers he was able to teleport him and Saphira home instantly.

“You know I feel kind of bad that we upset the natural order of things in the other dimension.” Saphira said.

“Don’t worry Kuthian will fix it all once we free him and kill Galbatorix” Eragon said.

“I suppose you’re right” Saphira said.

They finally made it out of the little worm whole that they were traveling through and found the world to be very different.

“Eragon why is the sky red” Saphira asked.

“It must be Galbatorix and Misos trying to make the world the way they think it should be” Eragon said.

“What should we do” Saphira asked.

“I guess we should go rescue Kuthian and give him his powers back after we kill Galbatorix” Eragon said.

“You can’t just barge in there” Kuthian suddenly said in Eragon’s head “Misos and Galbatorix with part of my powers are more than enough to beat you even with the majority of my powers” Kuthian said.

“Well then what do you propose we do” Eragon asked.

“I thought you’d never ask” Kuthian said. And he told them his secret plan of how to get his powers back.

Galbatorix’s New Super Castle

Eragon had to shrink down as a dragon because he could not shift forms. He snuck into the castle and made his was to the dungeons where Kuthian was being kept.

“Oh guards come quickly it’s a mini flying dragon” a maid said.

Eragon wiped her memory with his powers and when the guards showed up she didn’t know what the were talking about.

“Wow, am I glad to see you” Kuthian said.

“Likewise now let’s get you out of that machine.” Eragon said “So now what do we do”Eragon asked now that Kuthian was freed.

“Now we disappear and wait” Kuthian said and they disappeared.

Meanwhile with Galbatorix

“My lord” said a servant walking through the door “There is a fine lady who seeks an audience with you.

“You fool I do not want to be pestered by these peasants who wish to see me” Galbatorix said.

“I know but she is so well you better come see for yourself” the servant said.

“This better be worth it” Galbatorix said.

When they got to the throne room they found a beautiful woman with sapphire eyes and long flowing blonde hair. Galbatorix fell head over heels for her he so intoxicated by her beauty.

“We should go to my private chambers to discuss this further” Galbatorix said not paying attention to anything she was saying.

“If that is your wish my lord” said the woman.

They went to his room and he poured them both a glass of champagne.

“So where do you come from” he said trying to make conversation.

“Oh I was living in Gil’ead before the elves so rudely tried to attack us” said the woman.

“Ah yes I remember I was the one who stopped them you know. And my armies are already preparing to attack the Varden.” Galbatorix said.

“Yes I remember I saw you and your dragon flying in the sky.” She said “Tell me, how did you come to be so wonderfully strong and glorious?”

“Well I devised this scheme to steel the powers of a god” Galbatorix said.

“Mmm that is so hot” said the woman seducing him “Can we go see him I’ve always wanted to know what a god looks like.”

They went down to the dungeon where the machine was. When they saw that it was empty Galbatorix went into a furious rage.

“Maybe you didn’t get all his powers and he made himself invisible you should go check in the machine” the woman said.

“Yes good idea Miss hmm you know I never did catch your name” Galbatorix said as he opened up the machine and was bending in to feel around.

“Saphira” she said as she pushed him into the machine from behind.

The door slammed shut sealing him in the machine.

“Well done Saphira” Eragon and Kuthian said appearing from no where.

“Let me out of here” Galbatorix screamed he was in a psychotic rage.

“Can I go back to being a dragon now” asked Saphira.

“In a moment love” Eragon said soothingly.

He walked over to the controls and Kuthian sat down in the chair where Galbatorix stole his powers.

“The red button Eragon” Kuthian said.

Eragon punched the button and Galbatorix started to scream as the power was being drained and returned to its rightful owner.

“Ah it’s good to have my powers back.” Kuthian said “I suppose I should take the rest of my power back before you come down with any serious side effects.”

“What do you mean serious”Eragon asked.

“Well you might end up not being able to give them back so then we would have to merge bodies to make the power whole but I don’t think that it’s too late” Kuthian said.

They took Galbatorix out and Eragon cut off his head and killed him. Eragon got in and Kuthian took all his powers back. Eragon turned back into a human as the powers were taken from him.

“Wow I haven’t felt this good in a while” Kuthian said.

“So are there any other side effects I should know about” Eragon said.

“Well you have three days to live” Kuthian said.

“What?!” Saphira and Eragon said.

“Just kidding” Kuthian said “But some remnants of my power might remain but all they should do is increase your magic.”

“By exactly how much” Eragon asked.

“Well you had the power for a day and you didn’t use it too much I hope. So I would say one hundred fold.” Kuthian said.

“One hundred fold” Eragon exclaimed.

“Maybe more” Kuthian said “I can’t be entirely sure but you should be happy. You know most dragons would have disintegrated after having that much power for that long.”

“What about me” Saphira said “When can I change back into a dragon.”

“Oh any time you like” Kuthian said “You can now shape shift just like Eragon so just use the same spell.”

“Moi” She said.

Saphira turned back into a dragon “Much better I felt all cramped in that body I don’t know how Eragon stands it.”

“How do we fix this horrible world Galbatorix created” Eragon said.

“Well I’ll have to go out and get a better look” Kuthian said.

They went out of the castle and flew up into the air to get a better look.

“This is not good” Kuthian said gravely “I didn’t think he could do this much damage.”

“What’s the big deal you can fix now that you have all your powers right?” Saphira asked.

“I’m not sure we have to go to the core of the planet” Kuthian said.

They went deep into the core of the planet. When they arrived they saw a red and black twisted up glowing light at the center of a large room. They saw a dark figure messing with the planets heart shooting dark energy into the glowing light.

“You’re too late brother I’ve already corrupted the power of the planets heart” Misos said “Soon my armies will march forth from Oblivion and destroy this wretched planet once and for all.”

Misos disappeared and went back to the planet’s surface to open the gate and await the arrival of his army.

“This is really bad you two” Kuthian said worried “He has completely ruined the planets heart now he can open the gate to Oblivion and his armies will destroy this planet.”

“Can’t you fix it” Eragon asked.

“I could but it would take so much power that I couldn’t defeat Misos then” Kuthian said.

“Then what do we do” Saphira asked.

“We have to get back to the Varden and gather the all the armies including the empire’s to fight back the swarm of creatures that will pour into this world” Kuthian said. “It will take him a few weeks to open the gate and get his army through so we have enough time.”

“How do we know where he will attack” Eragon asked.

“Like I said he will need time to get his armies through the gate so he will be somewhere where we can’t get to him easily. This means that he will probably be emerging from the Hadarac Desert.” Kuthian explained.

The Varden

They made it to the Varden within a couple hours. It didn’t take to long because Kuthian was speeding their flight with magic. When they arrived they found that the armies of all the races were engaged in one gigantic battle.

“Hey stop fighting” Kuthian yelled but they didn’t here him over the roars of the army.

“We need to get their attention somehow” Eragon said.

Kuthian exploded in a giant outburst of white light. Then he reappeared next to Eragon.

“I think that we got their attention” Kuthian said. They were all looking up to see where the flash had come from. Kuthian amplified his voice “Listen up all you mortals, stop fighting we defeated Galbatorix.”

“Why should we listen to you” said a small group of soldiers.

Kuthian pointed at them and a white death beam blew them all up. “That’s why; now summon all your leaders together so I can explain the situation.”

One hour later

They were all gathered in a tent. King Orik and Queen Islanzadi were representing the elves and dwarves. Nasuada was representing the Varden and one general from the empire was representing the empires forces.

“Eragon where have you been” Nasuada asked.

“That is not important” Kuthian interrupted.

“You are not needed here magician so you can leave and I will talk to Eragon” Nasuada said.

“Oh that's right we never told her did we Eragon” Kuthian said.

“Come to think of it we never got the chance” Eragon said on the verge of laughing at Nasuada’s ignorance.

“Tell me what” Nasuada said getting angry “Tell me this instance you annoying little magician.”

“He’s a god Nasuada” Eragon said.

“Oh that’s a good one Eragon I know that he’s a powerful magician but he’s definitely not a god” Nasuada said laughing.

Queen Islanzadi was staring wide eyed at Nasuada because she knew who he was. Kuthian began to glow with energy and the air around him began to crackle and mini lightning bolts began to stream through his hair.

“Shut your mouth you puny mortal. I am Kuthian god of all dimensions I created Alagaesia fifty thousand years ago. I was the one who saved the world from being destroyed when the Grey Folk almost killed you all with their stupid enchantment. You will listen to what I have to say or I will eradicate you and find someone else to lead the Varden.” Kuthian said.

“Uh uh yes sir” Nasuada stammered.

Kuthian turned back to normal leaving everyone stunned “Now then the reason why I have called you here today is because my brother an evil god by the name of Misos plans to destroy your world.”

“How does he plan to do that” the general asked.

“He is going to open up a gate to Oblivion and let his armies conquer this planet. But it will take him a few weeks so we have enough time to prepare and get are armies ready.” Kuthian said.

“So what kind of army are we facing here” Orik asked.

“Well you know all those people who are horrible and get sent to hell when they die. Oblivion is basically where they all get sent plus there are the creatures from hell that torture them for eternity. Normally he couldn’t do this because the planet’s heart channels power from the Dragon Riders, Menoa Tree, and the Isidar Mithrim to put up a shield protecting us from them. However my brother managed to corrupt the heart thereby destroying the shield protecting us.” Kuthian said.

“How are we supposed to win against all the people who were sent to hell and the creatures that torture them” Islanzadi said.

“You know people aren’t as bad as you think they are.” Kuthian said “Plus you have me on your side.”

“Where will they attack” asked Nasuada regaining her courage.

“They will attack from the Hadarac Desert” Kuthian said.

“Hey Nasuada where are Murtagh and Thorn being kept with Galbatorix dead I can thaw them out and they can help us.

A Few Minutes Later

Eragon drew Istalri and touched the blade to the ice on Murtagh it melted away and Murtagh fell to the floor gasping.

“What the heck did you do to me Eragon” he asked.

“I froze you and Thorn until I could kill Galbatorix” Eragon said.

“Does this mean that he’s dead and Thorn and I are free” Murtagh asked.

Eragon walked over and did the same to Thorn “Yes.”

Thorn immediately began to growl as he saw Eragon.

“It’s ok Thorn Galbatorix is dead we are free” Murtagh said.

“So you mean it’s finally over” Thorn said.

“Well not exactly” Eragon said then he explained the situation to Murtagh and Thorn. They both agreed to help defeat the invasion from another dimension.

“Kuthian will go and defeat his brother once the invasion starts. Once he does that he can close the gate and cut off any reinforcements.” Eragon said.

“Well I suppose we should get to work preparing for the invasion” Murtagh said.

That night Eragon and Saphira were talking in their tent.

“You know if these are all the bad people who died and went to Oblivion wouldn’t that mean that the forsworn and Galbatorix would be there” Eragon asked.

“Probably” Saphira said.

“Great just great now we’ll have to kill them all again.” Eragon said “We should probably warn Murtagh.”

“Yeah you probably should” Kuthian's voice butted into Eragon’s head.

“Why did you contact me” Eragon asked.

“I just wanted to warn you about the forsworn but I see that you already figured that out.” Kuthian said “Don’t worry about warning Murtagh I’ll take care of it.”

Murtagh

Kuthian walked into Thorn and Murtagh’s tent.

“Oh hey what do you want” Murtagh asked.

“Well I came to warn you that the forsworn will be fighting in the war” Kuthian said.

“What?!” exclaimed Murtagh.

“Yes well they all did get sent to Oblivion when they died.” Kuthian said and in a more serious tone “You know that includes your father.”

“I know” Murtagh said.

“Well anyways I know that you and Eragon can’t handle thirteen other riders so I’ve come to give you this orb that will restore you to full strength twice. Once you use twice it will disintegrate so use it only once you’re completely exhausted.” Kuthian said.

“Did you give Eragon one as well” Murtagh asked.

“No he already has way more magic than even the strongest riders of old that includes Galbatorix” Kuthian said.

After One Week

“Well we managed to move the armies here” Eragon said to Murtagh.

“Aye, I suppose now we just have to wait for Misos to make his appearance” Murtagh said.

They looked down and saw Kuthian doing something to the ground below.

“What’s he doing” Murtagh asked.

“Let’s go find out Saphira take me down” Eragon said and both him and Murtagh descended to where Kuthian was.

“What are you doing” Murtagh asked.

“What oh I'm just setting up pitfall traps for when the dead come back” Kuthian said.

“I guess we should take every precaution” Eragon said.

“You don’t know how right you are. I’m going to make a whole line of pitfalls to stop the first wave.” Kuthian said. “I’m also going to help make catapults so we can hopefully kill a lot of them before we have to fight them all. The creatures are a dreadful pain to kill.”

“Well you can go start to help make catapults and we’ll finish the pitfalls here” Eragon offered.

“That would be a great help” Kuthian said.

He walked off and started to sing to the plants so he could have wood to make the catapults. Eragon and Murtagh started to use magic to make the pitfalls. Thorn and Saphira helped too by digging the holes. They were doing it much faster than their riders. After a few hours they were done and exhausted.

“Why did we agree to that again” Murtagh said.

“So you could have some of this delicious beverage I brought you from another dimension” Kuthian said handing them both a pop.

“It’s called pop or soda” Kuthian said.

“It’s fizzy” Eragon said as he took a drink.

“But it’s good” Murtagh said.

Thorn and Saphira looked thirsty too.

“I didn’t forget about you two either” Kuthian said and he waved his hand and two big tubs appeared filled with pop.

“That is good” Thorn said.

“Glad you like it since I finished making the catapults I thought I would go and pick this up for you” Kuthian said.

Eragon and Murtagh didn’t even notice the long line of catapults that Kuthian had made.

“Also Eragon you’ll have to explain to me why there are care bears trying to take over the hidden leaf village” Kuthian said.

“What is a care bear” Murtagh asked.

“Well when we were going to Kuthian’s house in his dimension Misos shattered are worm hole and we were warped through a bunch of dimensions before we actually made it to the right one.” Eragon said.

“Oh that explains it” Kuthian said “I’ll have to fix that later the care bears should not be in other peoples dimensions.”

“Why were they there in the first place” Murtagh asked.

“Well the first dimension I landed in was filled with those talking bears and my first reaction was to cut their heads off. So before they could punish me I was warped to another dimension but they caught up me while I was in the hidden leaf village.” Eragon explained.

“Aye, they are really psychos about stuff like that” Kuthian said.

“What do they taste like” Thorn asked.

“Not good I can tell you that.” Saphira said “They don’t have blood just this hairy stuff.”

“It’s called cotton” Kuthian said.

“Well it tastes horrible” Saphira said.

“That’s because you’re not suppose to eat it” Kuthian said.

“What should we do now” Eragon asked changing the subject.

“Well I’m going to brief the army on what they will encounter. You two should get some rest for tomorrow we’ll make more traps and stuff.” Kuthian said.

The Next Day

“We’ll make some more pitfalls today and I’m going to make some towers that we can shoot arrows from” Kuthian said.

“Back to the grunt work” muttered Murtagh.

“Well if you would rather do this” Kuthian said and he waved his arms and four giant towers rose up out of the ground.

“No” grumbled Murtagh.

They began to dig more pitfalls. Eragon and Murtagh got done faster today because they were assisted by the magicians in the army. Also Kuthian finished early so he began to make pitfalls like crazy. When they were finally done the had at least fifty rows of pitfalls.

“Now we just nee to make the spikes in them” Kuthian said. And all the magic users began to make spikes rise up in the holes. Kuthian finished them all by laying a thin layer of dirt over them to hide the traps he fixed the dirt with magic so it would stay in place but collapse when someone stepped on it.

“Well that should do some damage” Kuthian said.

“It better because I wasted a lot of my time making all these” Murtagh said.

“You’ll be glad when this kills a good number of those demons” Kuthian said.

The Day of War

A scout came running up to the command tent “My lords and ladies I have come to report that that enemies have been spotted they will be here in a few hours.”

“Tell the men to prepare for war” Nasuada said “Today we fight for our world.”

Within a few hours they saw the enemy. All the archers were in place and the catapults were manned. Eragon and Murtagh were keeping guard for any of the forsworn that might be coming. Kuthian had already taken off to go find his brother and shut the gate.

Kuthian

He had been flying for a few hours when he encountered four of the forsworn. One of them decided to stay and fight him while the others went on and battled the army.

“I’m going to send you back to Oblivion” Kuthian said.

“I’m never going back there again you freak with wings” the rider said.

He tried to attack Kuthian's mind but Kuthian didn’t try to stop him. The rider found all his memories and was driven insane by all the stuff that he saw. His dragon also suffered the same fate when he merged minds with his rider. The crashed down to the ground and died because the dragon was too busy being insane to remember to fly.

“Fools” Kuthian said and then continued to fly on.

Eragon and Murtagh

They saw three dragons coming their way.

“Well if it isn’t the riders of the new age” sneered one of the forsworn.

“Let’s teach them how the riders of old did it” said one of the others. Two of them came at Eragon and the other one went after Murtagh.

Saphira wasn’t doing too well against two dragons. She could handle one easily but two was another matter. These two must have practiced together because whenever one of them attacked Saphira would lash back. But when she did the other one would catch her off guard.

“Eragon I can’t keep this up much longer two dragons is too much” Saphira cried desperately.

“I’ll just have to even the playing field then” Eragon said.

“Why are we too much for you” sneered one of the forsworn.

Eragon jumped off of Saphira and prepared to turn into a dragon.

“Look Fred, he decides to kill himself when he realizes that he can’t beat us” scoffed the other forsworn.

“What a loser Daren” said Fred

“Moi” shouted Eragon. He turned into a dragon and began to attack the other dragon. Eragon charged at the dragon who was stunned at his transformation. Eragon clawed him in his side bringing him back to reality.

“I’ll make you pay you freak after him Rhudra.” shouted Fred.

His dragon Rhudra was purple and he flew after Eragon. Eragon stopped in mid air and swung his tail around and beat the dragon in his face. Then Eragon went in for the kill and he bit the dragon’s neck. Without his dragon Fred fell to the ground and died. Eragon turned to see if Saphira needed any help. He was surprised to find that she was just about to perform the killing blow. He turned back into a human and landed on her back.

“They were only strong when they could outnumber us” Saphira said as she watched them plunge to the ground and die.

“Aye, they were cowards let’s go see if Murtagh needs our help” Eragon said.

Thorn was battling a green dragon and he was winning. Murtagh must have taken control of the riders mind because all of a sudden the rider stood up and jumped to his death. His dragon gave his last roar and died.

“Well three down ten to go” Murtagh said to Eragon.

“Probably nine because I bet that one of them tried to kill Kuthian along the way” Eragon said.

Kuthian

After flying for a long time he finally saw the gate with demons and creatures pouring out of it. It was two prongs sticking up from the ground with skulls covering the two prongs. He looked for his brother but he was no where to be found.

“Up here brother” Misos said flying just above him.

Kuthian turned around to see Misos ram into him. “That was a cheap shot” Kuthian said.

“Am I suppose to care” Misos said.

“Let’s just fight” Kuthian said.

The Command Tent

“This is good those pitfalls have really taken out a lot of the enemy” Nasuada said.

“And the archers are doing excellent” Orik said.

“We might just win this war” the general from the empire said.

“We have to Socra we have to” Islanzadi said.

“The catapults will hopefully kill a lot of the creatures but soon we will have to engage in hand to hand combat” Socra said.

Eragon and Murtagh

They had killed finished killing the eleventh forsworn.

“You know that this leaves only two left now” Eragon said.

“Aye Galbatorix and Morzan” Murtagh almost spat Morzan’s name out.

“I’ll take Galbatorix if you take Morzan” Eragon offered.

“Good I want to be the one to kill him” Murtagh said.

Just then they saw a red dragon and a black dragon flying but they were flying away from the battle and heading south.

“Speak of the devil” Saphira said after seeing them.

“Where are they going” Thorn wondered aloud.

They pursued Galbatorix and Morzan and when they caught up Saphira rammed Shruikan and Thorn rammed Re’ac Morzan’s dragon.

“Retched little twerp” Galbatorix swore. “Morzan take care of your retched son and the bastard.”

He flew off still heading south Eragon was about to pursue him when Re’ac rammed into Saphira.

“You son of a—” Eragon said as Saphira was about to retaliate.

“Stay out of this Eragon this is our fight” Murtagh said deadly serious.

“So the son thinks he can be the father” Morzan scoffed.

Thorn launched himself at Re’ac who dodged. Eragon went after Galbatorix while Morzan battled Murtagh. He finally caught up to Galbatorix.

“I killed you once I can do it again” Eragon yelled.

“But who will save poor Murtagh from his father” Galbatorix sneered. Eragon turned around to see Morzan and Re’ac about to perform the final blow. Eragon raced towards them to stop. Galbatorix made his escape while the two half brothers were preoccupied.

“I’ll kill” Eragon said.

“So the little bastard thinks he can beat me” Morzan jeered.

Eragon charged Morzan and their swords me in a clash. Morzan had taken Zar’roc from Murtagh and was using it to fight Eragon.

“You’ll pay” Eragon swore.

“Not anytime soon” Morzan said.

Eragon was winning with his superior strength and agility. But Morzan was fighting dirty and he kicked Eragon in his balls. Eragon was brought to his knees by the dirty trick.

“Now I’m going to make you watch me kill Murtagh” Morzan sneered as he walked over to Murtagh.

“No” said Eragon.

“Yes” Morzan said as he raised his sword. Eragon was furious at Morzan and he began to glow and crackle as the remnants of Kuthian's power suffused him. Eragon flew up and blocked the attack with his swords.

“I will not let you kill my half brother and best friend” Eragon said.

“What are you going to do about it” Morzan scoffed.

Eragon clasped the swords together forming Aquatos “This” and he poured magic into Aquatos making the giant hand. He grabbed Morzan and Re’ac and began to crush them slowly.

“This is for killing the Riders” Eragon said and the giant hand turned red as Morzan’s blood poured into it.

Kuthian

Black and White energy balls were flying everywhere. Most of the time they hit Misos’s army killing some soldiers of the dead. Kuthian began to use the things around him he motioned at one of the spider creatures from Oblivion and it was sent flying at Misos. He cleaved it in two with his dark energy sword. Kuthian charged him and tried to chop his head off but Misos blocked his sword.

“You can’t win brother” Misos said.

“Watch me” Kuthian said.

Misos roared like a dragon and let out a stream of fire from his mouth. Kuthian grabbed the fire and formed it into a ball and threw it back at Misos it exploded and sent Misos flying. Misos flew back making throwing motions and then giant boulders flew up from the earth and started hurling themselves at Kuthian. Kuthian set up a bubble shield and blocked the boulders.

“You’ll have to do better than that” Kuthian said.

“Enough of this warm up” Misos said “Let’s unleash are true power”

“Fine” Kuthian said.

Dark energy began to pour from Misos and it enveloped him. White energy did the same to Kuthian and soon they were both glowing masses of white and dark energy. Then the masses began to form arms and legs and soon they turned into giant energy beings. They each had giant swords and began to fight. Kuthian was winning and he sliced off Misos’s arm. Then he decapitated the energy being’s head and the dark mass began to disappear. Misos was all that was left he tried to flee but Kuthian’s energy being grabbed him and threw him into the gate. Then Kuthian grabbed the gate and crushed it cutting off the portal. With that done he teleported himself back down into the earth’s core.

“Now all I have to do is fix the heart” Kuthian said and he began to shoot balls of white energy into the core. Soon it was its normal white glowing self.

“Thank you Kuthian” said the heart.

“Always a pleasure to help I’m just sorry that I couldn’t stop Misos from corrupting you the first time” Kuthian said.

“I sense that there are undead that should be dead on my surface I will get rid of them” said the heart.

Back on the Surface

The sky turned back to its original blue self.

“I guess that Kuthian was successful” Eragon said.

“Must have been” Murtagh said.

“Well now all the powerful people are dead we can get to work on the pawns” Eragon said.

They flew up and saw that the sand was strangling the creatures and undead.

“What the heck is going on” Eragon wondered aloud.

Kuthian appeared flying next to them “Mother Earth is pissed off that Misos tried to kill her she is getting her revenge.”

The Next Day

They were all celebrating the defeat of the invasion and Galbatorixes dethroning.

“Well we have defeated the undead creatures from Oblivion. Now the Riders can be reestablished and a new wave of peace and prosperity will descend upon Alagaesia.” Kuthian said “Let the feast begin.”

Everybody was celebrating the success. Kuthian even introduced the elves to a special meat that was never an animal they could eat it all they want and be happy because they didn’t kill any animals. Ale and faelnirv were all served as well as a delicious food. Then when they were all partying Murtagh and Nasuada walked up to Eragon.

“Eragon” Nasuada said “If you are to be the new leader of the riders I must release you from your fealty.”

“I see, so what will you do now that there is no use for the Varden” Eragon asked.

“I will lead become Queen of Alagaesia” Nasuada said.

This time Murtagh spoke “Nasuada and I are engaged now so soon I will be king.”

“Congratulations to the both of you” Eragon said.

Kuthian walked up to Eragon after Murtagh and Nasuada left “Well I suppose I should send those dragon eggs to Vroengard now that Galbatorix is dead it is finally safe.”

“Actually Galbatorix kind of fled before I could actually finish him off” Eragon said.

“Well I wouldn’t worry about it if he comes by again you can just kill him again” Kuthian said.

“I guess I should reestablish the riders before Misos can launch another attack” Eragon said.

“Oh don’t worry about him we won’t be seeing him anytime soon” Kuthian said. “Or at least by the time he tries to launch an attack he won’t be able to get here because the riders will be restored.

“I suppose this is goodbye” Eragon said.

“You never know I may pop in from time to time” Kuthian said “But I’ll be busy cleaning up that care bear incident so not for awhile.”

Eragon grinned and Kuthian disappeared and Saphira walked over to Eragon.

“I guess he had to leave now” Saphira said.

“Aye” Eragon said.

“Now what” Saphira asked.

“Now begins the restoration of the riders” “Eragon said.

Ok so basically this whole book was like one giant prologue. The next book will be longer and focus more on restoring the riders but once that's done it will really move to Saphira and Eragon' family i'll try and make the restoring the riders quick. Anyways since the next book will be longer the updates will be more spread out and not every day sadly. I know that Fresh Blood the author of The Future Begins another EragonXSaphira story which is very good better that mine updates on monday wednesday and friday so i'll try to update on tuesday thursday saturday that way for the EragonXSaphira fans theres always at least one update for one of the books. Also it might be awhile before i can get the next book up and running because i need to map out the plot and stuff first. One last thing i really didn't mean for this chapter to end up so similar to the elder scrolls four oblivion. Also when they called Eragon a bastard technically he was born to an illegitimate couple since Selena and Brom weren't married and it was an affair so it is true but i still dont like it myself.
