I love you ...

I burnt out a star to say 'Goodbye'

She told me that she loved me

The three words I never thought I would hear

The three words I ran out of time to say back

I love you ...

Even when Rose found her way back to me

I couldn't say the words 'I love you'

My double did it for me, whispering it in her ear

I turned around leaving Rose with my other half

My other half can grow old and die - the perfect partner for my Rose

It's just me with no second heart

Now once again I am the lonely traveller

Standing alone in an empty TARDIS when only hours ago it was full of my family

They all have someone else, while I have no-one

I will have to start over again...
