The story was too big to put on YT, so I used here. :D
:Story (The story goes along with the video, Balthier is Snake most scenes unless said otherwise.):
(Not shown in Video) Naked Snake has just finished tracking the Boss down and after a brutal confrotaion, he is on his hands and knees, ready to beg of his comrade's where abouts. After all, it was the Boss who took her hostage.
(Shown in Video): The Boss steps away from Snake, telling him "I don't expect you to forgive me." Snake takes in these words as an eery voice floats in his mind whispering "The living..." over the sound of the rain hitting his back.
He then is whisked away by his memories of when he first met Fran a few years ago, on a mission to save some poor man. He had been going across a bridge when the woman appeared, telling him "Now then, I'll take that."
She ordered, pointing at the man. Snake, who had never seen any of her race before, believes it to be a machine and asks outloud "What is this?"
The woman decides to kick him, knocking him straight onto his back but he comes back up, pointing his gun at her while she puts down her leg.
Snake is jarred out of his memories by the Boss's words "If you can't put the past behind you, you won't surivie long." He hangs his head, just so he can stop the flood of emotions going through him just as the erry voice speaks once more, "..May not hear them...Thier voices..." It fades away.
The Boss throws on the coat thing and gets on her horse to ride away. Snake then calls into to his commanding officer.
(Not shown in Video) The pilot picks Snake up and he is briefed on his next mission, one that invovles leaving Fran as a prisoner and sacrificing her to get the mission done. He doesn't protest outloud but his desicion on how to handle the misson is set in his mind.
(Shown in Video) Snake looks at the sun before he leaps off the hits the ground and rolls to a stop. As he looks up, the voice echoes in his head again, "May fall upon deaf ears...BUT.."
(Not shown) Snake manages to sneak his way through the forest to the Base that Volgin is holding Fran at, while avoiding all confrontations possible with the enemy. He can hear Volgin intergating someone about his whereabouts but no reply comes.
(Shown) Some scenes are supposed to hit the beats and others aren't. Snake crouches down and looks through his binoculars just in time to see Volgin eltrocute Fran for not telling him of Snake's whereabouts. Fran falls to down the stairs and comes to a stop while Snake looks away from his binoculars to take a breath before looking back to see Fran lying on the ground, unconicius. He waits to see Volgin leave.
(Not Shown) Snake races through the water and crawls on the dock area to Fran.
(Shown)She feels his prencse and whispers "You?" and Snake's reply "Me." was all that was said before he picked her up and carried her away from the base and into the mountains to hide her. As he sets her down, she can hear the enemy soliders approaching. She's asks him "Haven't you best be off?" Snake turns to see some soliders run by the hiding place and turns back to her smiling, "That's some female intution you've got."
He rushes out, going after Ocelot and disarms him immediatley, only to be attacked by the Boss yet again as he goes to pin Ocelot with a knife, she quickly takes over in the fight and breaks his arm. As he falls face first to the ground, he hears Volgin ask if he was coming with them. Boss tells him yes.
(About a week has passed) Snake sits in his jail cell, thinking how far away he is from Fran, knowing that she was most likely caught again but this time killed. He thinks of how much of a mess he is, physically and mentally from Volgin's daily beatings. He sees himself as pieces of who he used to be during previous missions, not the man he was. As he goes to put his hands down, he hears the voice again "Make no mistake."
He tried to break free, but got caught again by the Boss and Volgin. In the next beating, he lost his eye, trying to keep a stray bullet from hitting the Boss since she was his past mentor. He is then, sitting back in his cell (imagine it's a cell, not a tree) and he notices Fran sneaking by, giving an odd look to the cell nearby. He takes a step forward, alerting Fran to his presence as he remembers watching her collapse down the stairs. She calls out to him, pulling him out of the memory.
(Not shown) She gets him out of the cell by kicking down the door.
(Shown) He turns his back to her and lets her fix his wounds, Fran mutters something under her breath but she understands that he has never let anyone else on the field help him like that. Snake smiles to himself before the pair exit the cells and sneak out. Snake hears the voice again, "The dead are not silent."
He speaks to Fran, telling her that he's nothing more than a tool; a tool in war. She tells him, "Not a tool, a man." He whispers to himself that while he realizes that she's seen all the pieces he's been over the years, she just puts them together to see the man behind the pieces.
(The seeing face part is just a filler in this piece and the hands are a symbol of the partnership/lover status)
Snake clicks the dentotation device and thinks of how he almost lost Fran as his partner from her bing close to him. Ocelot comes out of nowhere and knocks him to the ground, pointing the gun at his head. Fran yells at Snake and Snake turns just in time to see Fran leap up and kick Ocelot away.
Once she landed, she tells him to go on ahead, she'll stay behind and make sure the bomb denotates. Snake nods but the two move closer together to...hand bump. XP
(NS) The surronding buildings are on fire from the bombs blast and Snake and Eva are trying to get away to rendavou with hears the voice once more, "Now, you will know the sorrow of those whose lives you have ended." He thinks nothing of it, too concerned with surviing to is hot on their trail, trying to beat them off the bike. Meanwhile, on the floor above, Fran and Balthier (some random helper agent) are working on defusing the nuclear weapon stored there. Ocelot shoots forward, not seeing the beam until it was too late, Snake whips out the rocket launcher and blasts it away, but the shock of it colliding with the wall cause the support above Fran's floor to give and the beams crushed her.
Snake and Eva esacped without harm, but Snake suddenly realizes that the building was the one Fran was in and can only watch as it collaspes and explodes (building exploding not shown). He pounds his fists into the ground in disbelief while saying "This can't be happening." He then finds his way through a waterway wanting to end it all;still being chased by Ocelot who is determined to kill him. He leaps off the waterfall before Ocelot can and when he hits the water, he doesn't try to swim to the surface, he justs lets himself drown...
When he should be dead, he hears the voice once more, this time the face appearing. It was the Sorrow, "So sad, so sad." He wakes up, breifly wondering why he isn't dead already. He looks up and sees Fran above the water, near the edge of the land. He swims to the top, gasping for air. Fran looks up, surpised and pleased to see him alive. He swims to the shore to Fran as she looks up from the ground, filled with guilt from the fact that it was her 'death' that caused him to try this. He sits up, remembering the her body he saw under the rubble before he was dragged away. (Dragging not shown). She calls him by his real name, telling him that the mission was complete. He then falls forward and coughs up all the water in him. He looks up, still in shock of seeing her alive.
(Fastforward to the next morning.) Snake wakes up in the floor of his home, wondering if it was all a dream; Him jumping off the waterfall, Fran being alive, and their victory "romp" that night. He looks around to see her sitting on the edge of the table, turning her head away so not to be caught in watching him sleep. He gets up and Fran steps infront of him, offering her hand to help him up.
(Not shown) Fran later explains that her "death" was determined from the start, so that the enemy would believe that Snake was dead, cause they knew he would try to kill himself if she died. Snake then realizes that the Sorrow was warning him from the start, that he would know the pain of all he had killed by "losing" his loved one.
-THE END.-
