A blood curtaling scream erupted from the throat of Shrio as he sat up in his bed drenched in a cold sweat and shaking as he grasped his naked chest over his heart. The shoji doors to his room slid open to reveal the concerned face of his wife Momoko dressed in her night yukata that was slightly open revealing a brown fuzz ball. Momoko walked into the room and shut the shoji screen and adjusted the small baby the was craddled into her chest nursing queitly.
" Bad dream?" Momoko spoke queitly as she approached her husband.
Shiro took a deep breath then exhaled calming himself down before he looked at his wife and smiled. " Nothing I can't handle. Nanoha wake you up?"
" She was hungry." Momoko smiled sadly.
" I wish he would let me bear the pain and worry with him instead of keeping it to himself." Momoko thought to herself as she came to sit next to her lover on their bed.
Shiro looked at his daughter and smiled sadly as he was reminded of his nightmare.
"Please tell me."
Shiro was dissrupted from his thoughts looking up at his wife surprised by her pleading tone.
"Please Shiro don't keep something this important from me, share the load with me, let me help make it more bearable for you."
" It was the same dream my father had after my birth. The dream that fortells of the acursed fate of my family. The fate that ends in pain before it even begins."
Shiro's left hand left its place from over his heart to cover his left eye before dropping limply to his side as he looked up to meet his wifes eyes.
" Let me tell you a story, the story where all truth is vailed in lies and where fate is the glutinous reaper."
