It’s the early morning in the Tokyo ward of Nerima. Nothing normally happens this time of today mainly due to the fact that everybody is still asleep. In front of the Tendo Dojo a black sphere appears in front of its gate. The sphere opens letting two passengers out. First to walk out is a tall Asian man with a long loosely braided black ponytail going down to the middle of his back. He looked like he was in his mid to late twenties. A red silk Chinese style tunic with a golden dragon soaring skyward embroider on it and a pair of silk black pants, and a pair a black hike boots on his feet. Next to step out of the Sphere is a little girl around the age of seven or eight. Her outfit was a simple red silk sleeveless cheongsam with butterflies fluttering around and pair of purple silk pant. Her long dark red hair flows down her to the top of her backside.
She looks at the gate in front of her. With her little hand tugs on the man’s sleeve next to her, she waits for him to look at her, which wasn’t a long wait. Two big bright blue eyes meet her small grey ones. The only thing she ever sees in these eyes is unconditional love. She blush a little at his glaze. “Daddy, is this the place?” she asks in a childish voice.
“Yes Aiko-chan. This is the place daddy wanted to see.” He answers his daughter. Ranma Saotome has returned home. He puts hand on the gate. Memories start to flood back to him some good, some bad, and some he could do without. A hundred years has pass for him while he lived in the Realm of Shang La, while at the same time in the Earth Realm only two years has passed. To everyone here just he disappeared during the night. The truth was that he was summoned to Jade Counsel of Shang La. Once summon, you couldn't refuse it. Aiko turns to the sphere let her father have time with his thoughts. She snaps her fingers making the sphere faded away. Ranma comes back to reality, looks back at his daughter and says, “I guess to time to meet your grandparents.” He pushes on the gate and opens it. Aiko follows her father into the courtyard.
Aiko looks around the small part of the world where her father spent some of his life. The only thing that she wishes for is that her mother could have been here with them. Tears start to form at the bottom of her eyes. The next thing she knows is that she is engulfed in a hug. “It’s alright to cry for someone that you love that’s no longer with us. I loved her very much too. I think about her every day. So let your tears flow, there are sign of strength.” He whispers in Aiko’s ear.
Ranma turns around and comes face to face with the oldest daughter of the Tendo family. The broom that she was holding falls from her hands. Kasumi almond brown eyes just focus on the man in front of her. “Ranma is that you?” she asks trying not trying to believe her eyes. “Are you a ghost of what he would look like?” She reaches out and touches his face. Tears fall from the young woman’s eyes. Ranma did the only thing he could do and pulled her into an embrace. “I miss you so much.” She cries into his shoulder.
“Yes Kasumi, I am back.” Ranma says to her. “I am sorry that I made you worry about me.”
Kasumi sees the Aiko standing behind Ranma looking up at her. “Ranma, do you know this little girl?" Kasumi asks as she takes a step away from Ranma.
A huge smile spread across her face. “Of course he knows me, I am his daughter.” Answers Aiko.
Ranma just laughs at his daughter antics. “This is my daughter, Aiko Saotome.” Says Ranma as Aiko bows to Kasumi.
The front door opens to let out the younger member of the Tendo family wearing tank top and shorts. “Kasumi, I am going to out for a jog. I should be back in an hour. So if that idiot Ranma shows up let me know.”
“My father is not an idiot.” Aiko yells.
“Hi, Akane.” Says Ranma.
Akane finally sees the man standing there. She looks at the Ranma up and down. Everything about him was unfamiliar, till she looked into his eyes. As soon as she made the connection her aura flared up. “RANMA!” she growls. She reaches behind her and pulls out a large mallet. “Ranma you idiot!” yells Akane getting ready to swing.
Aiko steps in front of her father in a protective stance. A sword made of light appears in her right hand. Her grey eyes start to glow blue as she stares at Akane. Her mother uses to tell her stories how this one woman would abuse her father for any misunderstand. Some was his own fault, but most of it was her own mistrust. Regardless who’s fault he couldn’t guard himself against her. “You will not hurt my Daddy.” Aiko growls.
Akane looks down at the little girl standing in front of her wayward fiancé. The word daddy echoes in Akane’s mind as she stared at Aiko. ‘This little girl is Ranma’s daughter?’ she thinks to herself. ‘His only been gone for two years, but she looks about eight.’ Her glaze moves from the Aiko to a more mature looking Ranma. The mallet that was so poses to strike Ranma falls to the ground. Tears start to well in her eyes, causing her to run back into the house.
The light sword fades from existence. Aiko looks at her father and then Kasumi. “Sorry about this.” She says while rubbing the back of her head, just proving that she is truly Ranma Saotome's daughter.
A/N: I hope that you can tolerate my imagination. The pairing isn’t set in stone yet, but I am torn with another. Is Ranma looking a wife and mother for Aiko? Yes. Is there going to be an Akane bashing fiction? That depends. I would love any suggests. I am sorry to say that Ranma doesn’t have a curse in this Fiction. Can’t wait to see what you think. Ja ne
