SOWELU101: This is my First Kim Possible Fanfic so I might not be too good at it. It’s just a warning. Also, I do not own any of the characters from Kim Possible Show…

Kim Possible

Impossibilities from Around

Chapter 1: Loosen Up

The sun had long since set over the city and Kim was finishing her bubble bath. Her shoulder length, wavy red hair was tied back into a ponytail and she was applying green crème to her face before she went to bed. Today, she knew, wasn’t a good day for her at all, but maybe she would feel refreshed in the morning. Maybe she would feel like getting up and going to class, rather than lying around and eating cookie dough ice cream and watching sad movies in her small, boring apartment. It wasn’t like she had much of a choice anyway; she couldn’t miss another day of class, though she only had one class scheduled.

Kim, wearing pink and white hello kitty panties and a red t shirt, climbed into bed under the warm blanket and cut the lamp off. She was sure that it had been no more than five minutes when she was jerked up out of her sleep from a bad ass nightmare and she was staring at the blank wall in front of her watching her memories dance by her. There were so many people that she had left behind… so many friends that she still thought of. She had just up and left them without a single word… with no goodbye. Kim wondered how long she would be thinking about it before she said to hell with it, and let the memories fade from her mind.

Would they ever fade? Or would she always remember the ones that she loved so dearly and the crime that she fought with no problem whatsoever? She was only a teenager. Now, going on twenty one and finishing up her last year of college, she kept thinking about how much of a mistake it was. Kimberly Possible was her name and she had left home when she was eighteen years old… after her defeat… after feeling so embarrassed and wondering how she could let that happen. It was cold that night when she went to fight Shego who had long since retired from being Dr. Drakken’s sidekick. She had never felt so defeated in her life when she realized that Shego was way stronger than she was and there was nothing that she could do to stop her.

After stealing everything that that bank had to offer so she could start her own little evil plan to take over the world, just as Drakken had, she split and Kim was put in the hospital. Though, everyone kept telling her that she was going to be okay and it was nothing to worry about, Kim, just couldn’t take the epiphany of the situation… and she split.

Now Kim was lying in her apartment, listening to her Wolf Hybrid, Maxine, scratch at the corner of the wall, like she needed to go to the bathroom. It was the worst part of the night for Kim, but she knew that she had to let her dog out of the apartment. She jumped out of bed and quickly dressed in baggy green pants. She Slipped into flip flops and grabbed up the leash. She attached it to Max’s collar and they both headed outside into the cold darkness of the night.

The thing that Kim missed the most about her life was fighting crime and watching everyone fall. Wait, she had to think about that. Was that really what she missed the most? Or was it her crazy, geeky boyfriend, Ronald Stoppable? His messy blond hair, which never appeared to be brushed and his light brown eyes… he was the biggest geek she had ever had the pleasure of knowing, but he was her geek and she missed him terrible. She wondered where he was and how he was doing. Did he have a girlfriend? Was he still a geek with all of those freckles on his face… was he still charming?

Kim couldn’t let herself think about it and she wasn’t going to. She let go of Max’s leash and let her run free. The golden brown and fiery red mixture dog sniffed around the grass to try to find a place to use the bathroom and Kim leaned up against the street pole in silence. She was sleeping and needed some kind of medicine that would help her get to sleep. She hated it when she couldn’t get to sleep.

“Story of my life.” She said to herself aloud. She let out a loud whistle. “Max! Let’s speed this up, girl.”

“Kimberly Possible?” A low, raspy voice came behind her and Kim quickly jerked around to find that there was no one there. Her heart had sped up in a matter of seconds and she was looking around with wide forest green eyes, wondering who the jerk that had just said her name was. But there was no one there. Maybe she was dreaming. Or maybe she was extremely sleepy and there had been no one there to begin with.

Kim ran her fingers down her face and shook it off.

“You're imagining.” She told herself. “No need to get crazy. You're just a little tired.”

Max, growling as if she sensed something, ran back over to Kim. She licked her hand and waited for Kim to pet her head. When she didn’t, Max could sense that something was wrong and she sniffed the air, searching for something.

“Come on.” Kim bent down and grabbed up Max’s leash. “Lets go.” She leaned up to walk away, but was completely startled when she saw a tall, buff male standing in front of her. He was dressed in all black clothes, except for his brown timberland boots, and his face was covered with a thick ski mask. Typical thief, Kim thought.

But her thoughts were apparently wrong when the man started into his pocket for something. Kim was sure that it was a gun! A murder! She thought as she grabbed the man’s hand, forcing his arm to jerk inward. She twisted him off of his feet and flipped him into the air. He flipped over and hit the ground hard.

“Hey!” He shouted almost unable to move. As he went to stand up, Max leapt into the air on top of him, knocking him back down to the ground.

“Whoa!” the man shouted when he saw the pearly white teeth of the wolf hybrid sticking out, ready to attack. The dog was growling and snarling like a psycho pet and the man was shaking like he had just seen the ghost of his mother and the ghost of his father.

“Whoa, whoa, whoa!” the man said, trying to stay completely still. “What the hell- are you crazy or something?”

“What are you doing sneaking up on me like that?” Kim asked.

“Well are you Kim Possible or not?” The man asked.

“Why?”

“I have something for you. It’s in my pocket! It’s just a letter from one of your closest friends.”

“Then why are you dressed like that?” Kim asked. She was more confused than ever and something wasn’t right. “Huh?”

“Because my identity has to be kept hidden. Its priority for the company I work for. You see, I'm new and my objective was to get this letter to you from the Boss.”

“Save the life story.” Kim said, not caring to know anything about the man at all. She shook her head and decided to trust her gut. “Max, down.”

Max, still growling and staying in attack mode, backed away from the man and sat at Kim’s side. The man, still a little shaky from the attack, slowly got to his feet. He took a deep breath and let it out before reaching into his pocket and pulling out a folded manila envelope.

“Who is it from?” Kim asked, as he placed the envelope in her hand.

“Read it and you might find out.” The man said. “We have to be cautious at the company so we can’t confirm our life imformation in the letters that we write to our loved ones. Sorry, but I have to go.”

“Okay.” Kim looked down at the manila envelope and stared at it. There was no writing on it to identify who it could possible be and it was sealed shut tightly with some kind of metal bars. No wonder it seemed heavy. “But what about,” Kim looked up to find that the man had totally disappeared from the street. She looked around carefully through the night, but she couldn’t spot him anywhere.

Holding the manila folder in her hands, Kim headed off towards the apartment, wondering what the letter could contain that was so serious. With Max by her side, she walked into her apartment, closing and locking the door behind her.
