Hidan walked on nothing it seemed. The ground was of the darkest black while the sky was of grey blues, neon greens, and dark oranges. White orbs danced around him; they seemed to whisper to him...him- yet he had no recollection of someone who would be waiting. His life out of the hole was not but a blur.

'Follow... follow.' one crooned to him.

"Why?" Hidan asked.

'You are... dead... he has waited... for so long.' the orb replied in a melodic, yet tired voice, 'A soul... to have kept... its form at death for so long...'

Hidan's pace quickened some -he needed to get to

A figure came into view, its body nearly nonexistent. Hidan broke into a run, soon he was mere feet in front of it.

"Hi... dan?" it asked, reaching a hand out to the pale man, "I can't... go if you don't... remember." It managed to pull Hidan to its body; its hands grasped his hips with urgency, leaning in to whisper. "With every red dawn, comes a new day... with you... Let’s continue that in what... ever the afterlife... brings."

Hidan eyes weld with tears. "Ka...Kuzu." he managed to say, his arms wrapped around the figures neck.

The figure rapidly grew solid to become a tall dark skinned man with stitches. Kakuzu knelt down to give Hidan a small kiss.

Hidan's eyes flew open to find himself in a bed inside of a small home. He tuned his head to the side and look at Kakuzu before he stood and went to a window. A forest spanned out before him, and threw the trees he could see a village.

"The after life is not what I expected."

Hidan turned to see Kakuzu behind him, rubbing his neck.

"No hell for us..." he mused, reaching to his neck to feel his rosary where it always was.

"Together... I wonder who is in that village... Maybe Sasori?" Kakuzu wrapped his arms around Hidan's body, kissing the young man's pale neck.

Hidan smiled, his blood pumping rapidly. It seemed sex was a necessity in the afterlife as well.
