“Donna.”
His voice held an edge, but the redhead waved him off.
“Donna!”
She shushed him, her gaze captured by the beings in the valley below. Their incandescent wings shimmered against the backdrop of dark foliage. “Shh! I’m watching those…bird things.”
“But, Don – “
“Oh, for…” She heaved a sigh and whirled. “What are you cackling on about now?“
The Doctor pointed up the hill toward an approaching dust plume…and the cascade of boulders following closely behind.
That got her attention.
“Well, why didn’t you say something?!”
Gritting his teeth, the Doctor grabbed her hand and pulled. “Oh, just RUN!”
