Disclaimer: I don’t own TMM, if I did, Minto wouldn’t be stuck with a no body! Thank you for cooperating!
By the way, sorry to fellow Mormons if I offend you in this chapter.
Minto’s Child chapter 1
Minto breathed in and out. It was just one order, one order of chocolate mousse. Just one order of light, fluffy chocolate. But, could she do it? She stumbled over her shoelace and flung the mousse to table four. It landed perfectly on the table. Minto, on the other hand, fell to the floor. She felt a pair of strong hands lift her up. Probably Ryou…
“Minto-sama, you okay?”
Minto nodded. “Yes Ryou-kun.” She shoved him off and walked to the kitchen. She felt herself being watched as she gathered one more order, holding it with extreme care. The doctor had told her not to push herself to the extreme, was this extreme? The doctor also told her that she had two heartbeats. One of them strong, the other, fatal. She didn’t want to lose a baby, even though it meant more labor for her. She was only 15, and she didn’t want to lose her children. Her birthday was in two months, when the babies were due.
Minto delivered the watermelon cake to a little girl who was pounding her fists against the table with a fork and a spoon in her small, chubby hands. Great, another brat she thought sourly. She cut the cake into eighths, making sure not to spill any over the table. She was about to leave when the child poked her belly harshly.
“Are you pregnant?” the child asked.
Minto nodded, “Yes, why do you care?” She stalked off, growling under her breath.
At the end of the day, Minto had made 32 dollars. She walked home elated, 32 dollars richer than she already was. She hadn’t told her mom and dad that she was pregnant yet. She also made sure that her Kishu-bear’s body was buried. She ordered only the finest of caskets for her Kishu. She had his burial be private, and in her yard. Well, the back. Her parents were still in America, heaven knows why they would go there. That place was full of fat people. And, in this one state called Utah, Mormons. LDS Mormons flooded their way into the other states. If only Tokyo had a church where you could get wedded at 15, like in Nevada they had Las Vegas. Sin city was it’s nickname.
When Minto entered her house, she felt alone. Just like every other day. Aoya-I mean, Masaya, was probably on his way over right now. Since her house was empty for another year, Masaya has been coming over every other day! She felt used, rebuked…sad… She walked into the kitchen to fix herself dinner when the doorbell rang. “Come in,” she hollered. She was surprised she even had to invite Masaya into her house. She was, after all, his…for now…
Masaya stepped into Minto’s house, familiar with his surroundings. He spotted Minto in the spacious kitchen she had. He crept up behind her and held her waist in his arms. “Hello my bird-chan,” he whispered in her ear. “I called you twice. Why didn’t you answer?” He let his lips descend to her neck.
Minto replied calmly, “Because I was at work, Masaya. I would never neglect one of your calls. And, don‘t ever call me ‘bird-chan‘ again.” Gag me she thought. She felt him start to nibble as his mouth got closer to her shoulders.
Masaya moved his arms to her shoulders as he spun her around to face him. He saw the apathetic expression and said, “You aren’t very happy today, are you Minto?” He didn’t give her time to answer as he planted his lips on hers. His mouth was not as careful now, neither were his arms. He pushed her to the hard ground and lay on top of her.
Minto kicked him in the shin and punched him in the face. She shoved him off of her and nearly shouted, “Do you want me to kill my babies Masaya?!” She shoved him away from her as she continued making her dinner. She was going to have potatoes and carrots with a side of rice. She quickly filled her glass with milk as she carried it carefully to the living room. She sat on a one person chair, forcing Masaya to sit on the couch, alone. She didn’t bother to make small talk with him, even though he tried. She ignored him as she chewed her carrots with her potatoes. Yummy mix, for her anyway. She was craving ice cream. She would probably get herself a bowl later. She swallowed her milk, washing away all of the rice that she had forced herself to eat, and she placed her plate and cup on a nearby table. There were a lot of tables in her house, well, Mansion.
Masaya saw her done with her meal as he moved in. He grabbed her wrist and pulled her onto the couch. He could feel her reluctance and her wishing to be somewhere else. He ignored that and pulled her onto his lap. He lay back and stroked her face. “This is nice, Minto.” He stroked his finger past her eyelashes. “We need to think of names for them.” His finger drew circles on her cheeks. “Do you know what they are yet?” His finger stroked her lips that shone red in the light.
Minto whispered, “Why should that be any of your business?” She felt his finger stroking down her neck, leaving shivers where his finger trailed.
Masaya let his fingers rest around her neck as he felt her tense up. He said darkly, “Because I’m the father.” He moved his fingers back to her collar bone and stroked on her bone.
Minto gently pushed him off. “Masaya, you need to go home.” And, just to prove her point, the phone rang. Minto rushed off to go and get it when Masaya got to it first. “Baka,” she whispered.
Masaya answered calmly, “Hello, Minto’s house. Masaya speaking.”
“Masaya?? MASAYA!! WHO IN THE HELL IS MASAYA?? I WANT MY AOYAMA-KUN BACK HOME PRONTO!! YOU GOT IT YOUNG MAN??”
Masaya said sorrowfully, “Yes ma’am.” -click- He turned to face Minto’s triumphant smirk.
“Time for you to go?” Minto sneered.
Masaya nodded. “Yes. But, before I go, there is something I wanted to do.” He lunged forward at her and kissed her lightly on the lips, his hands holding her face gently. He backed away and out the door shouting, “Same time tomorrow!”
Minto touched her face. He had never handled her like that before. Maybe it was just because she was pregnant…oh well.
Well? What do you think? I had a very long time to think out the chapters, but the next one won’t come out until I have 5 reviews! Got it? Good! Laterz everyone!
