Who is Bernard?

To most people, she was nuttier than a very nutty thing.

To Lord Edmund Blackadder, she was just a sad, insane old woman who sat at Queen Elizabeth’s side. And that spot should have been his.

To the mad Captain Redbeard Rum, she was his Little Puddin’ of Delight. Pudding, with a big bottom.

She was the woman who applied ointment when your head had been cut off.

But her name was Bernard.

Yet, everyone simply called Queenie Elizabeth’s wetnurse “Nursie.”

And somehow that actually seemed to explain her odd fetish for cow costumes and an even odder udder fixation.
