Author’s note: Okay guys and gals, this is the new Ocarinas of time. I’m completely redoing (well okay not completely) this story to get more details in the first chapters fix some spelling and grammar stuff and so on. So don’t mind me.

And now… onto the redone Prelude!

Prelude: Dreams

Dark clouds hung of the white wall of stone as the wooden drawbridge creaked down. After hitting the ground with a resounding thud, for a moment nothing was heard but the rain. Two children stood near the drawbridge. One male, one female. Hoof beats against wet stones was heard, then a white horse ran past with two passengers, a girl, clearly royalty by her garb and another woman, a warrior. The girl looked back, her blue eyes begging something of the two. Within moments the white horse was gone. Another horse rode out, this one jet black and upon it sat an evil looking man with red hair and green skin, garbed in black. Then…

“Wake up!”

“Ahh!”

Thud!

The two children who had been sleeping were woken up quite unexpectedly. The male, Link had vividly blonde hair and almost sapphire blue eyes, while his female companion, Ceria, was nearly his opposite. Ceria bore auburn hair and bright green eyes. The way they dressed could not have been much different either. Link wore a hat upon his head which hid his hair, minus his bangs, and a simple green tunic that was belted at the waist and went to his knees almost. Ceria wore a shorter tunic of the same shade but she wore darker green shorts under her tunic, which was also belted. The biggest commonality they had was their color of clothing and the brown boots they wore everywhere.

While Link and Ceria were not siblings, they did everything together… well nearly everything. They had the same dreams and even shared a house together, because they shared one commonality that set them apart from the child-like Kokiri they lived among. All Kokiri had a fairy. Except for Link and Ceria. But today was different.
