Title: Ghost King's War

Rating: PG-15 for violence and character death. Lots of character death.

Summary: Pariah has come back and he's out for revenge and power. Well, if Danny beat him once, he can do it again! Except for one small problem; Danny's dead and it's up to Dani to help save humanity.

Prologue

There was a hero who once saved the world. The world was about to be destroyed by a meteor, but by a remarkable stroke of inspiration and a convincing plea, the world was saved by the hero and all the ghosts. The villain who had tried to use this disaster to try and further his power had even been banished from the world.

However, this is not a story about that hero, that villain, or that event. No, this is a different story. A story that at present, is three years beyond that event. And this story focuses on a different hero. If only for the fact by the time this story takes place, a lot has happened.

Including the death of this hero.

This story focuses on another party. Namely, the copy of the hero and her life after the meteor. After our hero revealed himself, she revealed herself to, happy to be with the family she always wanted. As to be expected there was a few conflicts. Namely some zealots who did not approve of the hero for his state of being, more did not approve of the girl for being a clone. Then there was also the fact everyone saw the girl as only a sidekick and inferior to the hero. In a strive for independence, the next year she moved to live with the dear friend of both heroes, a powerful ghost hunter, and ended up becoming the ghost hunters adopted sister.

The girl enjoyed her life like this for over a year, though still in the hero's shadow, she had gained a bit more of a name of herself. However, after one year and two months, something that hurt the girl and all who supported the hero occurred.

No one knew what happened. At least, not at the time. All they knew was the hero...was found dead in the center of their beloved town. There was great mourning from the family, the friends, the fans, and perhaps most of all, the girl. After all, the hero had been her hero too. The first true family she had and the one she had loved most of all.

She did not get much time for mourning as she had to do his work and her own. There were renegade ghosts everywhere with the taboo of crossing the worlds all, but destroyed now. It was hard work, but with the help of the ghost hunter and the hero's close friends and family, it was managed. Until five months later.

The ghost portal in the family's home had a barrier on it. The father had discovered it when he was trying to fish for ghosts. No one could understand why this was until...he appeared.

The Ghost King and the one who rules dreams. Everyone in the town knew the Ghost King and the two closest to the hero knew the dream ruler. Neither were good and it was revealed that the dream controller was the one to release the ghost king with the Skeleton Key and returned the Crown of Fire.

The girl tried to attack then, as did the ghost hunter and parents of the hero, but the attacks were deflected easily by the two powerful ghosts. The Ghost King gave warning.

Two days for the humans to prepare for an attack. There would be no ghost assistance, no outside assistance with another barrier around the town, and most of all, no mercy.

The humans prepared with what they had in town. It would prove fruitless, unfortunately. They fought bravely, but the skeleton ghosts came over and over and over.

Many died in that battle. The mother of the hero, the ghost hunter, the girlfriend of the hero, and so many more than that.

The town fell. The girl fell.

And the Ghost King took over.

It has been three years since the hero saved the world now.

And now...the world has almost fallen.

This is the story of the girl, who will try to be the hero her original had been.
