A harvest moon fanfic

Ok bear with me this story is about a teenager, well she's 17 years old. Her name is Sophie Adams. She plays the guitar pretty well, and sings. She has long blonde hair with black streaks, pale skin, thin and beautiful green eyes. She loves music and her idol is hailey williams and can be snobish sometimes. She is from the city, she moved because she wanted to try living somewhere else other than the city. Her mother didnt really care if she left or not because she was rich and a bigger snob. She really didn't want to turn into her mother and decided to try to find her father and try living with him. She found him living in a little country called " Forget-Me-Not Valley." She called him up one day and asked him if she could move in with him. Of course he said yes and he was really exiected that he was going to see his daughter again. Over the phone he had told her the directions and had told her that he had a surprise for her.

It took a couple of days to get to "Forget-Me-Not Valley." As soon as her car pulled up the rode and read the sign that told her half a mile she noticed that the landcaping was beautiful and she'd seen nothing of it before. " I could get used to this..." she thought. The trees were abslutely amazing. She'd seen a rather large hill and was excited because over that hill was going to be the place she'd hopefully spend the rest of her life. Her car started going up the hill and was almost about to reach the top when she saw a car coming towards hers. Then the car started slowing down and reached her and saw a woman in the car and she seemed like a very polite and caring woman. Sophie stoped her car so she could speak to her. The unknown lady spoke first. " Hi my names Chris, I live in forget-me-not valley and haven't seen you before. Are you new in the valley?" She was nice. " Uh..yea I am, my dad accually lives here his name is Tom adams.." Chris eyes sparkled. " Oh my godness your Sophie! Your dad has been talking non-stop about you! He is very excited to have you here!" I was totally shocked. ' wow my dad was excited to have me here?' " Yea..thats my dad alright." Chris was looking at me like I was the world. " Well I'm very glad to have meet you, sophie and I really want to stay and talk and tell you about our small little vally but I really must get to work on time, but I will have my sons, Hugh and tommy come over to show you around later!. Bye!" She started her car and waved goodbye. ' Wow, I hope everyone in this town was as nice as her. She really made me feel welcome.' I stared at the clouds and wondered what the valley looked like and felt myself being a little scared to go, but I started my car and went forward.

As my car was going down I looked over the hill. I was amazed at what I saw. It was farming land. I saw more beauty spring trees everywhere and cute little house's further down. I came past a small farm. It read " Vestas Farm." And I saw a rather large women with red hair carring a crate that looked like it had seeds in them. And a older guy around his twenty's following her. He had deep black curly hair almost like the singer Elvis. He also had this depressing look on his face that was kind of intemadating. Next I saw a pretty girl around my age kneeling down, planting crops. She had pretty brown hair and a green dress on and fit her well. They seemed nice. As soon as they heard a car coming they looked around to see a blue convertable. As soon as they saw me they imeetally recongized me as the girl my father had probaly been talking about. They waved politely and I waved back the women had smiles on their faces but the guy was still kind of like sulking. I turned my head to look at the other side and noticed a cute little picknick area where you could sit and look at the ocean. ' A ocean, wow I cant beleive I live near one!' Then my car went over a little crossing bridge that covered a tiny river where you could fish at. Then I came across a little bench where you could sit at and watch.

I came a little futher down and came to a fork in the ground. If I turned left I would head down to the ocean. If I went straight I would head into a really small town, that occupied 5 houses. Then if I turned right I would head into another little farm. I looked at my map and saw an X mark where the farm would be. ' I guess thats where I was sopposed to go.' So I turned right. And headed up towards the farm. This farm was huge! I had to turn left and saw a tiny little cabin house and hoped that wasn't my fathers house. Then I came across a building that looked like it was the food storage. Then to my right was a barn. It was so cool to see one up close. Then by the barn was the tool shed. Finally my dad's house...well hopefully. I parked my car closed to his house and got out. I walked to the other side on my car and leaned back inhailing it all in. I looked up to the sky it was beautiful, covered with clouds and the sun shining bright. I walked over to the cabin and knocked on the door in a large knock. I waited a little bit and turned around to see a old man walking down the road of the farm.

His face was curious, just looking at me. I was kind of nervous but didnt look it. I smiled at him showing I was okay. " I mean I know was beautiful but...' Just then the door opened and I was still turned around looking at the man and suddenly I was wrapped in this giant bear hug. I moved my head to see better and wrapped my arms around him. " dad?" He stopped hugging me to look me in the face." Sophie?" He hadnt aged as bad as I imaged him to be. He face looked old though. " Oh my little sophie! You got so..big." His hands moved to my face and he started crying a little. " Was the trip here okay?" I moved my hands to get a grip on him. " Yea it was okay." He finally let me go and invited me inside. I walked in the door way and saw a wonderfully furnished living room. Not what I was expecting to see on a farm. I turned around to look at him amazed. " Yea I figured I'd better refurnish now that your going to live with me, it cost a fortune for it to be done." I looked at him. " ...you didn't have to do this.." He shut the door now, not wanting to let all the cool air get out. He motioned for me to sit down with him. I sat on a comfy couch while he sat on a cute chair. " Well I haven't seen you in a while and I wanted to make a good impression. And I wanted you to be happy and to hopefully make up for lost time." I crossed my legs, and looked around the large room.

I looked infront of me and saw a beautiful fireplace and kept my eyes on that. " I am...so exicted to have you stay with me. I really missed you. It's really good to see you again." I turned my head to look at him. " It's good to see you again too. It's different here, more quiet." He looked really happy. " Well thats good. I'm here if you need me though okay kiddo?" I nodded and smiled a little. He looked at his watch and his eyes moved to look at me. " Well enough of this talking and thats get your stuff inside ok?" I laughed. " okay." He moved to open the door. " Maybe after you get settled, I can show you around the place hm?" I moved from the couch and went outside. I mumbled an okay. I went outside and walked to my car. I grapped my keys out of the equishnen and poppped open the trunk. I grapped one of my bags and turned my head to see the old man again. He was attended to the animals in the pasture. Tom came over to the car and took a couple of her bags as well and looked over at sophie to see who she was staring at. Takakura was over in the pasture brushing the cows. " Oh. I see, thats Takakura." Sophie looked at him strangely. " He techenally runs the farm, and I just do everything. Because he is getting well into his years I do everything and he gets the shipments and sends for them."

I look over to the man again and see that he is coming over to us. " Wow...so it's like a partnership?" " Yea like that." Takakura makes his way over to us and stops and looks at me with a huge smile on his face. " So your the imfamous Sophie?" I nodd. " Yep...thats me." " Your dad has told me alot about you." I smile wanting to be polite. " I'm glad to have you on the farm with us." I laugh. " Yea it's really nice to be here, it's so refreshing." Takakura lifts his head and looks at the sky. " Yea it is very warming here." I drop the bag I'm carring to go and get the last one out of the car." Hey after your dad's done showing you around the village I want you to meet my nephew. Then I will show you around the farm?" I put my hands on my hips to steady my self and look back up at him. " Yea that sounds great, where does he live?" " He stays here with me, but goes to the city for his work." I look confused at him. " Why does he go to the city, doesn't he like the farm?" Takakura looks dissapointed at me. " Yea well, lets just say he likes better things." I pick my bags up from the ground again. " Ok well that sounds great, and it was really nice meeting you Takakura and I look forward to meeting you nephew." Takakura walks away to the toolshed. " Same here."

I walk into the house to try to find my dad that carried off with my stuff. " Dad!?" I walk down the hallway to open a door that lead to the kitchen. I call out his name again. Then I here him say, " find the kitchen and walk forward until you see the stairs and follow them up to the second floor." I do as I was told and saw him in the second door down the hallway. I walked into a huge room. The walls were red with a intrecate design on them. A huge queen bed on the wall facing to the left as soon as you walk in and a walk-in closet not too far from it. A expensive computer was on a desk right by the window. There was a bathroom close to the closet and a table was ajacent from bed with a tv on it and a drawer right by the tv. This was a nice room. Tom had put all my stuff in the bathroom and was waiting for me on the bed. My mouth was hanging on the floor. " Nice room hun?" I get a hold on my self. " This is like omg the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me thanks so much dad!" I run over to him and give him a hug. " Yea yea don't mention it." I jump onto my bed and laydown. " Well I will leave you to your unpacking." He leaves the room only to come back. " yea?" "I forgot to say my room is downstairs by the kitchen." He left the room again. I moved on the bed to look up at the ceiling. I knew I was going to have a surprising time living here. I went over to the bathroom to unpack.

I went downstairs after finishings unpacking. I went to find my dad's room to find him not inside. ' He's probaly outside.' So I went outside over to the pasture to watch the innocent cows just grazing...or whatever you call it. Then there was a tap on my shoulders that scared me and I turned around to see a cute guy around my age standing in front of me. I smile at him. " Thanks for scaring me!" He laughed and put his hands in his pockets. He had short brown hair, nice blue eyes, cute smile, muscular figure, and had on a gray work-out shirt on with ripped jeans on. " Your welcome." I keep staring into his eyes and put my hands on my hips. " Well aren't you going to tell me your name?" I said. He looked up and looked back down at my face. " Oh, my name is Huge. I think you met my mom chris? " I gasp as I realize that this was one of that nice ladys sons. " Well she wanted me to show you around forget me not if you wanted me to." I look over to the cows again. He stares at me with a look I've seen before. " Yea I guess that be okay." He smiles again. He is a little taller than me. " Forget me not is a nice place to live don't you think? " I look down at my shoes and realize that one of them is untied. " Well for the time that I've been here, it's pretty nice." I bend down so I could tie my freaking shoe. I could feel his eyes on me. " Your Toms daugher right?" " yea." He rufles his shoes. " Does he mind me showing you around?" I look up." I don't think he'll mind I just have to tell him the change of plans."

Huge backs up so I can go over and talk to him. He is over by the chicken ground. He is throwing chicken feed on the ground when I ask him. " Yea...I have no problem with nice young hugh to show you around." I blink at him. ' Nice young hugh? grow up dad.' " Thanks, be back lot later!" I turn around and wave. Huge is right next to me with his hands in his pockets again. I gather up my courage to talk to him, but he goes first. " So you never did tell me your name." I blush at him. " Oh yea..! My name's Sophie." " He looks down at me and laughs a little. ' He probaly thinks I'm retarted.' " My names funny?" " no no , its cute." " ok.." I kick at the dirt. " So how old are you Sophie?" I look up at the sky and see a dark rain cloud forming. " I'm 18, you?" We walk around the corner leaving the farm. " Wow the view here is amazing." " I know I love living here." Then we stop at this huge building I'm guessing is a hotel. "Ok first stop the Inner Inn!" He says proudly. " A chinese couple run the Inner Inn. They have a older son named Rock." He looks at me. " I gotta tell ya, he's really lazy." I giggle. " Any way, there's also a girl name Carly Higgens saying there, she's really nice, but kind of shy.

Then there's a guy named Adam Wilson he is the most coolest guy you will ever meet! Well besides me..." I punch him in is shoulder. " Let's go in now." We walk into the Inn and stand in the lobby. The place was very chic looking alot of fenshi plants and paintings. I inhale deeply to smell a delicous aroma. Then a big man walks into the room. " Why hello there! Hugh what brings you here and with this pretty girl?" I blush, and squeze hughs shoulder. " Oh he's just showing me around I just moved here." Tim holds out his hand and smiles deeply. " Why you must be sophie! Johns kid!" I smile and shake his hand. " Thats me, wow word sure gets around fast here hun?" Tim laughs. " Yea, well you know what they say about little towns.." " haha." Tim turns around to call his wife. " Hey ruby! Sophies here." In a heartbeat a tiny little woman burst out of a curtain door, then that yummy smell explodes in my face. " Oh hi sophie! I'm ruby." " Wow you must be a great cook that smells wounderful!" She lights up. " Oh that old recipe! why thank you! It's almost done would you like some, I've made more than plenty?" I smile politely. " I would love some, but I've just ate. Thanks though." " Ok well if you ever change your mind you can always have meals over here." " Aw thank you! So how long have you been running the Inner Inn?" Tim steps up. " We've been running this little thing for almost twenty years now." " Wow, it's really nice." " They both say, " Thank you." I turn my head to the stares to see the most beautiful creature walking down.
