Marian Janssen was not happy. Her by-half plan had failed and it was due to those, those, failures! They should’ve expired a long time ago, she knew, even her ‘daughter’, Maximum Ride. Well, she’d show them. She would start up her plan again. She would be prepared for the Flock. She would make sure they witnessed her winning. But first, she needed to call in some help. Money wouldn’t be an issue. She knew what they wanted and she could give it to them. The death of a 14-year old boy wouldn’t be an issue. The death of six mutants was. The Director knew that they wouldn’t be able to resist. Humiliation by mere teenagers was not something you could forget. No, working with Scorpia would be for the better.
