The Dawn by AndromedaMarine

The dawn
I sit and I watch the dawn
I watch the souls of those who died
The souls of those who died for everyone

The dawn
I stand and I hear the dawn
I hear the whispers of those who came
The whispers of those who came for everyone

The dawn
I lean and I feel the dawn
I feel the pain of those who cried out
The pain of those who cried out for everyone

The dawn
I cry as I know the dawn
I know the truth that slipped away
The truth that slipped away from everyone

The dawn
I sing as I keep the dawn
I keep the memories of those who left
The memories of those who left everyone

The dawn
I sit and I watch the dawn
I watch the wind that blows through the hearts
The wind that blows through the hearts of everyone

The dawn
I lay and I curse the dawn
I curse the gods that took him away
The gods that took him away from everyone

The dawn
I cry and I heave at the dawn
I heave insults that mean nothing
Insults that cannot bring him back to everyone

The dawn
I know that he will not return
He will not return to my heart
Return to my heart and never to everyone

The dawn
I loved him as I love the dawn
I will not release him to go
Release him to go through the dawn

The dawn
I do not want him to leave
I cannot control him and me
Control that will never contain everyone

The dawn
I sit and I watch the dawn
I watch the soul of he who died
The soul of him who died for everyone.
