"Ugh, I don't know how you can drink that stuff Jake." Nessie complained as he took a swig from the two litre bottle of Dr Pepper.

"I don't know how you can not!" he said before returning to the bike they were working on.

"It just tastes … gross." She pulled a face and he laughed before grabbing the back of her neck and pulling her down to kiss him.

After a long moment she pulled back, breathless and slightly dazed. She licked her lips once before falling back down toward him again. Maybe it wasn't so bad after all.
