Oh the flowers,

Their beauty hath withered

Like the love in my heart

You spoke to me of stars,

Of the moving sun,

Of an undoubting love,

Yet in truth thou art a liar,

Thine poetry is but a farce,

And my love is but a game,

Thou are cold and cruel,

At yet the object of my deepest affections,

My passion for thee runs deep into my soul

And deny it...I Can Not!

I needed you

I wanted you

I respected you

I lusted for you

I betrayed my own Father, all for you!

And your reply,

That I should abandon my love!

That I should cast myself unto convent!

I SHALL NOT!

For my love for you goes beyond love of life

And I will not bear this disgrace

Hamlet, I love thee to death,

For that is surely where I am bound

Death...ice cold death,

Like ponds of glistening peace

I shall hang a wreath above such a pond

I shall leave this wreath as a reminder of how you left me

Farewell, My Love, Farewell

Opelia
