This is my definition of Time in Harry Potter.

Time

Time does not wait for anyone.

"Have you ever heard of the Arrow of Time?" asked Lavender Brown incredulously on a sticky summer's morning. Previously, they were discussing the infinite possibilities of travelling back in time. The lives they could save...

But, alas, time makes fools of us all.

Time waits for no one. No one can stop time.

Sure, you may turn your back on the future and head on the path back towards where you were. You can also leave behind the present and step on the stones towards the future.

"It isn't worth it," said Ginny.

But the golden Time-Turners have all crashed into a million smithereens.

Time had tried waiting for many people: The Potters, Fred Weasley, Hedwig, Dumbledore and so many more. But Time was impatient, and he still is.

Time had abandoned us. If only he had waited a little more than a second, the Burrow would now be filled with laughter and discussion of the ending of the war.

They had come to the one conclusion: Time is unreliable.
