I’m only continuing this for my own comic relief reasons. Yes, I’m lame, but when you’re stuck at home for 10 hours straight with no one to talk to, it’s easy to go insane.
Chapter 2
“Can you PLEASE tell us where we’re going?” Gritted out Kurogane through his teeth, staring down at Rin and Aeri.
They frowned. “NO!”
Fai smiled and brushed away Kurogane calmly. “Be nice Kuro-rinta. Here, let me try.”
He turned and gave Rin a dazzling smile, which froze in return. “Miss Rin, could you tell us where we are going please?”
Rin stared in awe and pointed at a random terminal sign nearby. It read Terminal 4, Japan. Kurogane grinned widely. “Does this mean I can finally go home?”
Aeri sighed exasperatedly, pushing Rin’s arm down. “We can’t exactly tell you, because we don’t know where Miss Amnesia’s feathers are.”
Sakura blinked. “Eh?”
Syaoran frowned. “Then why are we here?” He asked, folding his arms across his chest. Aeri burst into giggles. “That looks very girly.”
He blushed and shook his head. “N-Never mind, can we just have Mokona back sometime soon?”
Aeri nodded. “Um, sure, just wait a second –Rin, hand me the pork bun—Rin? Rin? Rin are you listening to me?”
Rin didn’t break her stare at Fai. Aeri waved a hand in front of her face and sighed, looking towards Kurogane instead. “If this is goes on for much longer, you’re going to have to carry her instead.”
Rin snapped out of it and glared over at Kurogane, growling. “Don’t touch me.”
Syaoran could only stare. “Um…Mokona? Please?”
Rin blinked. “Oh yeah, right.” She fumbled around in her backpack. “It depends on how it’s doing now.”
She pulled Mokona out by its ears. It snored loudly. “Okay, never mind, you can have it back now.” She threw Mokona over her shoulder. It squeaked in its sleep as Syaoran caught it and sent out the visual image.
“Oh, you guys.” Yuuko smiled happily. “Where are you now?”
Sakura pointed at Rin and Aeri. “They won’t tell us!”
Aeri shifted uncomfortably. “Um, the United States of America?”
No one responded. Only silence.
“Oh for the love of—U.S.A!”
More stares.
“…The Country of the Northwest?”
“Ah, okay!” Sakura beamed, pleased that she understood. Aeri hit her forehead. “Is that the only way you’re going to understand?”
Rin turned and smiled at Yuuko. “So, you’re Yuuko-san! We’re a big fan of your show!” She said casually.
“Show?”
“They know who we are too.” interjected Syaoran.
“Oh yeah, we didn’t tell them how we know who they are.” Aeri smiled nervously. “I guess we forgot.”
“Basically,” began Rin, pulling out a bunch of manga volumes. “We follow your lives like stalkers. But blame it all on Aeri, she’s the real stalker.”
“HEY!! I’M NOT THE STALKER, YOU ARE!! I’M THE ONE WHO GETS STALKED!!”
“Oh by the way Miss Yuuko, my name is Rin and the carrot top it Aeri. Here’s her card.”
Aeri glared at Rin hatefully. “Not a carrot top. And stop stealing mycards!”
“Well I printed them!”
“I made them!”
“I came up with the idea!”
“No, it was my idea!”
While they were arguing, the rest of them each picked up a neglected manga volume.
“I’m a clone?!” Syaoran sputtered out.
“I know Syaora—“Sakura passed out cold on the floor, hitting her head hard on the polished floor.
“I lose an eye? And become a vampire?” Fai turned the book sideways in attempt to read it.
Kurogane frowned. “Nothing happens to me…”
“Oh no, you lose an arm, but that one hasn’t come out in America yet.” Yelled Rin as she fought off Aeri’s attack. Kurogane shrugged, deciding that he could deal being a one armed ninja for the rest of his life.
“This is…depressing…” said Syaoran quietly.
“I FOUND MY PEPPERMINT BARK!!” hollered Rin suddenly. Everyone who wasn’t Syaoran and Sakura turned to stare at her in shock. Rin smiled. “Yay, attention!” Then, she started to dance.
Aeri rolled her eyes and turned to look at Yuuko. “Well, now that we’ve explained the basics of it all, would you mind making a deal with us?”
Yuuko’s eyes lit up with excitement as Aeri casually pulled out a bottle of elixir from Rin’s backpack. Rin stopped dancing and turned to glare at her friend. “What was that bottle of elixir doing in my backpack?”
“In case of emergencies,” Answered Aeri smoothly, holding the bottle out for Yuuko to see. “In exchange for something that’ll tell us where the feathers are! Oh, and some cash. We’re students, not exactly made of money.”
“Why not use Mokona—
“We can’t do that.” Called out Rin. Aeri frowned. “Why not?”
“…You know how my brother works at the hospital? I kinda took his medicine box thingy…and well, it ate my peppermint bark!”
“…Rin what did you do?”
“…Kinda…Sedated it?”
Yuuko sighed. “Do you have an atlas?”
“Yeah-
“Why do you have an atlas?”
“Why do you have a magic tea kettle and a talking barometer?!”
“…Good point.”
Yuuko shoved something at the other Mokona. “Here, it’s a Feather GPS. You have to look for it on the atlas though, that feature isn’t installed. “
“Aww man, technology.” Complained Aeri but stuffed the elixir into Mokona’s mouth anyways. A GPS unit shot out and hit a random person on the head. Kurogane picked it up as the connection fell, and stared the numbers. “What does it do?”
“Tell us where we have to go smart one, now give me the GPS.” He stared at Rin stuffed the unit in her backpack. “It says we have to go to Montana’s national park first.”
“Montana?” Aeri grinned. “You know what that means…”
They punched the air in unison. “ROAD TRIP!!”
Kurogane grimaced. “This isn’t going to end very soon, is it?”
….I wrote too much so I summed it up and typed quickly. I still have to clean my room lol.
