An Author's Note

Myapologies if you thought I had posted the new chapter already. Actually, exams are on this week but I'm taking this little break so I thought I should inform you guys now so I could have a clear focus on my other activities after them.

The Painter and the Playwright is on hiatus.

It's partly because I've been busy, but it's also because I've lost the inspiration to continue writing this fic. I'd update for the sake of my readers, but it's just...it isn't worth it if I write with such an empty heart. I don't know how long it'll be on hiatus, but I'm not deleting it...for now. If my inspiration for it really does completely fade away, I will delete it, but for now, it's still on the site.

I don't have an author's block, okay? Trust me, I got this whole story planned out when I started it, and the plotline is still with me. The main reason is that I don't feel like continuing this for the time being. If inspiration hits back, I'll write and post a chapter, but for now, please bear with me. Every author needs inspiration, and I just have to wait for time to bring back mine.

I hope you understand, and I'm really sorry about this. :( If you have time, I have other stories that you can read, like Charmed (a fic I won't put on hiatus because I heart the plot too much at the moment) and my entry for the first NatsumeSeries Contest, Nothing Less, which is pretty much my first fic done in a good Natsume's narration and my first family oneshot.
