I wasn’t lying to Harry Potter when I told him he wasn’t crazy and he was just as sane as I was. Some people might disagree, but those people think they’re sane. They are, just not the same as Harry and I. Sane is only what you make of it. I’m sure Voldemort thought he was sane, too. I know some of his followers did.
It isn’t my fault the others don’t know about Codswallops and the fact that they commonly mistake human hair for Tospalls. My father has a collection of these, though most think it’s just a bunch of wigs. We use misting spray to keep the Codswallops away, though the girls in my dorm didn’t like it very much when I used it in Hogwarts. My shoes disappeared for a week.
When Harry Potter kept asking me for advice, he didn’t think I was crazy. When he started asking what I thought of boys, I didn’t think he was crazy. And, when he came and told me he had the best shag of his life (“And with Percy, of all people!”), I asked him if it felt good. He asked if I was crazy and I told him I was just curious.
He wouldn’t tell Ron and Hermione. He said Percy feared it could cost him his family again and Harry didn’t want to lose them either. His family must have been attacked by Yellow Redtullies because they couldn’t see how the two of them acted around each other. I mentioned it to Ron and he said I was crazy. He asked if I was sick because I mentioned the thought of his brother and best friend together.
Maybe Harry was right. His new family would never understand even if it didn’t cost Percy everything.
I told Ron I wasn’t crazy. I could just see things that he couldn’t because of the Yellow Redtullies.
