What in the world possessed me to get up from my comfy bed, tiptoe across the smooth floor, and stick my head out the door was beyond me. When I emerged fully from the doorway I shivered involuntarily, the cool air brought upon a battlefield of goose bumps. I ran my hand over my left arm with an effort of warming myself. I threw a sad look at my warm room and walked down the stairs one step at a time.
Creak.
I cringed at the sound, just when I wanted to be the quietest, it sounded like millions of mice were running down the hall. I glared angrily at the old stairs and continued down the path of hell, each stair creaked annoyingly after the other. When I reached the bottom of the stairs, and did a little victory dance on not waking everybody up, I noticed the beacon of light coming from the living room.
I walked in and was greeted with pleasant warmth. My toes curled happily.
“You’re awake?”
I jumped slightly from the deep voice. I peered over the armchair and grinned at the occupant. Sirius had propped open the Daily Prophet on his knee and stared curiously over his glasses.
“You wear glasses?
“I think I asked a question first, but yes only for reading,” he tucked away the newspaper.
“Oh yeah…about that, I thought I heard something,” I meekly laughed.
“Hm.”
I lied. I’ve become good at it. I don’t think I’ve seen a much more beautiful sight than this. My lover in my fantasies took a swig of fire whiskey from his glass and gazed with a dreamy look at the fire.
“May I try that?” I eagerly eyed the amber liquid.
“You won’t like it,” he took another sip and this time swiped his lips with his tongue. I bit my lip.
“I know…I know, it takes time getting used to it, blah blah. I’m old enough, let me try,” I snagged the cup from his hands and took a sharp sip.
It burned.
I tried with a composed face to mutter, “Good,” but my voice was hoarse.
Sirius was still watching me over his glasses with his index finger gently caressing his lip. I blushed and set the cup on his table.
“Sit down.”
Something about the way he said it frightened me.
I sat down obediently and watched as he turned to face me. He crossed his legs and leaned his head back.
“Take your shirt off.”
I stood up quickly, “What in the world are you talking about?”
He merely chuckled and stood up also, “Sweet Ginny, as if the most devious Marauder could resist peeking at a teenage girl’s diary.”
“Y-you’re – How could you?” Oh what did he read?
“How could I Ginny? How could you write something so dirty and detailed? Oh my, young Ginny, do you know what reading those words did to me?”
I shook my head.
He bent down to my eye level and closed in on the distance, his lips were only an inch away, “So much that I couldn’t sleep tonight.”
My eyes widened, “That was personal.”
“No, you see Ginny; personal is something involving the personnel alone, but this little thing involves me also. Involves me in the most astute way.”
He was circling me like a vulture, and his large hands grazed my neck and grabbed my hair, he pulled hardly at my scalp and sniffed my hair.
“You smell divine,” he said.
I breathed in deeply with closed eyes and waited for him to continue his speech.
“You have a prepossessing spirit…”
I breathed out.
“An enticing body…”
I breathed in.
“I love the way you sway your hips in the most seductive manner…”
I breathed out.
“You are so delectable…”
I breathed in.
“You are pulchritudinous, not only by features but by soul too.”
He laid his hand on my cheek and I did the same. His lips were moistened and glistening, and I knew I couldn’t keep my front up any longer. If he were to kiss me I would give in, I would give everything to him. My virginity, my soul, my better half. I loved him so much. I loved him too much.
“Ginny, I want to ravish you.”
I shuddered.
He cracked a smile and pulled away. “There is one little glitch.”
With my eyes closed and a sly smile on my face, I whispered, “And what is that?”
He sighed, “Too bad this is all a dream.”
I opened my eyes to find myself staring at the ceiling of my warm room. Damn it all to hell.
Too bad indeed.
N/A -Muahaha. Something I came up with in the middle of the night, I wanted to expand my boundaries with late night hook-ups, and obviously to see what my reviewers would think of the ending.
