Me:I'm working on one of those to, Pineapple spawn.

Bardock:I'm in that one too, aren't I...?

Me:Yep!

Bardock:I suddenly don't want to be me right now...

Me:Oh, get over it. Besides, it's a certain orange-head who suffers, not you.

Ichigo:Huh?!

Me:Okay, non-Bleach...liking...people...uh...you aren't being held at gun-point to read this, kay? Also, I will try to keep it easy to understand for the people who haven't seen it before.

Bardock:You have some explaining to do, ya know...

Me:Right. Instead of Other World, which is the DBZ afterlife thing, I will be using the Soul Society, the afterlife thing of Bleach. Kay? Kay. That's right! No Yemma! No dudes in tiger-stripes! NO FLUFFY CLOUD PEOPLE!! Trust me, you'll see why later...

Rocky:KidGoku13 doesn't own DBZ or Bleach...or anything else for that matter.

Me:I know...isn't it sad? Oh, this will mainly follow everyone's favorite guy in the whole wide world! So it's Bardock-focused. No skipping scenes and such...all Bardock, all the time!

Chapter 1:

One More Day

How long has it been...? A few months now...? Bardock thought as he lay in the soft, green grass of Earth. The planet where his son lived. I think so...

Suddenly, there was a huge rumbling feeling, and a blood-curdling howl.

“What the heck?!” he exclaimed, “What was that?!”

Well, I guess we should start things off with a little introduction, huh? The name's Bardock. I'm a Saiyan. More correctly, the spirit of one...

I was killed by the evil tyrant named Frieza. The majority of us were...But they got what was coming to them, I guess. You see, before he killed us, I had visions of him doing it...and I warned the others. But they chose not to believe me. Sure, they didn't deserve to die, but they could've chosen to take action like I did!! I died fighting...

But that's ancient history. Well...not too ancient...I've been watching over my youngest son, Kakarot ever since I died. I don't exactly know why I didn't pass on, but it doesn't matter. It gives me a chance to see him. More than I could from some boring afterlife. Kakarot was sent off to a planet called...what was it called again...? Oh yeah. Earth. I think...but that doesn't matter too much. You didn't really think a spirit could raise an infant, did ya? No...an old man from the planet...E...whatever...found him and has been looking after him. It's been a few months since that happened.

I've tried to find my older son, but I've been unable to leave this planet. It's been really boring since I died...no one to talk to...no one to fight...it's so maddening!! But that's not what you wanna hear about, is it? I thought so...

“This way, Ichigo!!” a female voice yelled.

“Right!” a male voice said.

“Alright, it should be close by!” the woman said. She then came into sight.

“I don't see it Rukia.” the male, who had spikey orange hair said.

“Gr...stupid Hollow!! It must've disappeared quickly!! Come on!” she said.

“Are you sure that thing isn't broken?” Ichigo asked.

“Yes I am!!” she barked.

“Hey, you!” Ichigo said.

“You can...see me...?” Bardock asked.

“Seen any Hollows around?!” Ichigo asked.

“I take that as a yes...” Bardock murmured, “And I don't know what 'Hollows' are, but I heard something over there.” he pointed to where he heard the sound come from.

“Stay here!!” Ichigo barked, and ran off in that direction.

“Wait up, Ichigo!!” Rukia called.

Wait here...? Who does that guy think he is?! Bardock thought, But more importantly...how could he see me...?

A little while later...

“Thanks.” Ichigo said blankly.

“Uh...you're welcome...?” Bardock said, “Can you PLEASE give me some answers?”

“Like what?” Ichigo asked.

“First of all, how the heck can you see me?!” Bardock asked.

“I get it...you're a spirit being! So no one else could see you before.” Rukia cut in.

“Yeah. So you two are dead, too?” Bardock asked.

“No...not exactly.” Ichigo said, “It's complicated.”

“Try me.” Bardock dared.

“I'm what's called a Soul Reaper. I really don't understand it too much myself, but a Soul Reaper's job is to send spirits on to the next life and exterminate Hollows.” Ichigo explained, not explaining what Hollows where.

“...?” Bardock gave him a confused look.

“Speaking of which...we need to send you over to the other side.” Ichigo said, and pulled out his Zan Pak Tu.

“No thanks.” Bardock said.

“You can't just say no thanks!!” Rukia yelled.

“Look, I don't have time to pass on.”

“Huh...?”

“Neither one of you has kids, do you?”

“N...no...” both answered.

“Well, I do. Two of em...and I'm watching after my youngest. Follow me.” Bardock said, and led them to Gohan's tiny house. “You see that kid?” he pointed to the young Goku.

“Your son?”

“Bingo. So you see, I can't leave him.” Bardock explained.

“Sorry, but you're no exception to the rules.” Rukia said, “It's good and well that you want to look over your son, but you have to pass over.”

“Yeah, so come here!” Ichigo said, and lunged at Bardock with the handle of his Zan Pak Tu to preform a Konso. Bardock easily dodged.

“That all you got, kid?” Bardock smirked.

“Why you...!!” Ichigo growled, and continued trying, Bardock kept evading.

“Look, if you stay in this world a Hollow will devour your soul!!” Ichigo explained.

“Tch. I wanna see it try.” Bardock said.

“Huh?”

“I'm guessing you two don't know what 'Saiyans' are, either?” Bardock sighed.

“I've heard a little about them in the Soul Society...” Rukia said, “Fighters, every one of them.”

“Yeah.”

“Aliens, too, I hear.” Rukia said.

“Right again. I can look after myself. Now, leave me alone.” Bardock said.

“You fool!!” Ichigo yelled, “You have to!”

“What's over there that I need, huh?!”

“Uh...um...” Ichigo stuttered, “Rukia...?”

“We will give you one day. That's all we can allow.” Rukia said, and turned her back, “Come on, Ichigo.”

“R...right...” Ichigo nodded and followed her.

Me:Okay, this was like a pilot episode of sorts...tell me what you thought!

Bardock:I'll show you, carrot top!

Ichigo:Bring it one, monkey boy!

Bardock:I'M OLDER THAN YOU, KID!!

Rocky and Me:(sigh)
