I reach for the can

And glug it down

My thirst now sated

The hunger clamours

I gorge on

Attention,

And affection

I’m a glutton for

Understanding,

And empathy

I’m a greedy child

For love

A never stopping

Glutton

Always feeding

Cramming more

To fill my empty

Self

To feel filled and

Satisfied

To sate my ravenous

Gaping maw

To live

Without being hungry

I’m of the opinion that Misato is love starved, and continually searching for it, that’s my explanation.
