A/N: This will be way more detailed and serious than my other Tsubasa fic: Sakura and the Luna Kuro Wars (check it out please!: 3) I love the storyline and everything about this! It’s gonna be similar to the Tsubasa journey but a little more complex! I’ll even add funny moments (I love them!XD) I hope you enjoy this and review!
Disclaimer: Tsubasa is too AWESOME for me to own...I only use it for my own weird reasons... -.-
Full Summary(as promised): The Tsubasa group is back, kinda. Sakura and Syaoran are dead and gone, but both have been reborn!!
Now “Sakura” is currently a commoner that can’t even see out of her own left eye.
“Syaoran” is an archeologist(just like before) that has a mysterious power, and is also blind in his right eye.
Kyokazu is the young 17-year-old son of Kurogane, that knows about his father’s journey.
Yuui is the beautiful 16-year-old daughter of Fai.
Both Sakura and Syaoran’s power feathers have been scattered around the universe and Kyokazu and Yuui are in for the ride. XD
I hope that wasn’t too long, story: start! XD
Chapter 1
Sakura and the Country of Clow
In a dimension yet to be discovered, two shadowed figures float in the darkness surrounding them.
One figure, a girl with short light brown hair and a black dress with silver coins floating around her, the girl appeared young and had piercing silver eyes and strange silver wings floating somehow attached to her back.
The other, another girl with the same appearance as the silver eyed one, had a white dress with gold coins around her. Her eyes a warm and gentle golden, her wings a bright glowing gold.
“Are you sure this is the right decision?” asked the golden eyed girl, her expression filled with worry.
“...yes, it’s the only way...” the silver winged Tsubasa answered as she and the other stared at the other young girl floating in the void.
This girl had a similar appearance to the other two, her short dark brown hair gracing her face, her eyes closed in deep slumber. Her dress a mist grey with silver and gold coins attached to the short (knee length) dress. They both envied the innocent smile on the girl’s lips as she slept, seemingly untroubled by the events conspiring around her.
Both of the girls went toward her and touched the sleeping figure. A glow emitted from their hands and a fragment of their power flowed into the unconscious girl.
As they transported the sleeping girl to another dimension, the silver winged and eyed “Sakura” had the last glance and murmured to the young girl,
“I’m sorry.”
...Clow...
“Huh?” a girl of 14 years asked, bolting up from her uncomfortably cushioned bed. Dazed, she looked around the small room known as he bedroom. She yawned while stretching her sore limbs and rubbed her eyes.
Deciding she was up for the day, she got off of the small mattress that was lain down on the dusty wooden floor. She was clad in a long pure white night gown with peach colored pants underneath, she wiped her dress clean and moved groggily to the bathroom.
As she stared at her reflection in the slightly cracked mirror she noticed her frizzy, knotted, short dark brown hair and sighed in annoyance. ‘It’s the same every morning.’ She thought bitterly , ‘that dream.’ The girl didn’t get to ponder her dream long for she was interrupted by a knock coming from the main room.
‘Already?!’ she quickly brushes her hair with her right hand and changes to a short sleeve with light blue square-like designs(like the country of Clow’s princess outfit) and a matching skirt and pants, her shoes a pale pink. “Ahh! Coming!” She calls as she fastens a gold chain necklace with coins around her thin neck and walks quickly to the door.
“Hi, Syaoran!” she smiles as she opens the door, to be greeted by a tall, thin but muscular young man with jet black hair and chocolate brown eyes.
“Hello, Sakura.” he smiles back and enters the small, cement built house. She breathes in the sweet fresh air from outside and then steps back in, closing the wooden door as she goes back into her house.
Inside she rushes to her little kitchen and makes some breakfast for herself and her company. Quietly humming to herself as she brings out the clean white dishes, and water. As she brings the plates out to the long wooden table she apologizes for the wait and sets them down carefully, the young man helping her with the plate in her left hand.
Syaoran looks up at the young girl and notices her business as she sets the table. “It happened again, didn’t it?” he murmurs, worry swirling in his deep brown eyes.
Sakura stiffens slightly, sighing, she sits across from Syaoran and plays with her food a little, “yeah...”
“That dream.” he clarifies as he starts his meal. Grabbing a stool and setting himself down. Frustration furrowing his brows he asks, “and you can’t remember it at all?”
“Uh hmm.” she mutters as she nibbles on her apple, which she set aside for herself. Her gaze set on something far away. She shrugs, “Nothing serious, I think.”
“Heh, you think.” Syaoran points out her unsureness, as he finishes the last of his breakfast. He looks up to see her response:
“Hmm! I’m not that ditzy!” She puffs out her right cheek in annoyance, raising a fist in anger.
“I never said you were.” he grins mischievously, his brown eyes betraying his amusement, as he put a hand to his chin jokingly.
“Nyann.” she says as she sticks out her tongue at him, getting up and clearing the table.
Syaoran only chuckles, while also getting up and helping out. His brown cloak following his movements. Syaoran was wearing a black t-shirt and dark green desert pants (just like the other Syaoran), his black boots dirty with sand from walking around the Kingdom of Clow.
Sakura grabs her white hooded cloak and gestures to the door, “ready?”
Nodding, Syaoran follows her out and closes the door behind him, he covers his left eye with his left gloved hand while his right hand was closing the door. “Sure is bright out, the sun is at it’s zenith.”
“Must be noon.” Sakura guesses as she starts walking toward the main town square. ‘Day’s like these are priceless!’ she smiles as she can already see the daily costumers and hustle of a normal day in the Country of Clow.
...Town Square...
“Here you go, miss!” exclaimed a happy salesman as he handed a short dark brown haired 14 year old girl a basket of green apples.
“Thank you!” she smiles brightly and bows her head (cause if she totally bowed, all the apples would spill over) and walks back to the center of the town square, which has a small water fountain in the middle.
There, her patient friend was waiting, “Apples again, Sakura?” said a calm Syaoran that was munching on an apple he paid for earlier.
“Yup!” she grins and lays the basket of apples between her and Syaoran as she takes one out and cleans it with her cloak.
Suddenly another costumer accidentally bumps into Sakura with his elbow and Sakura, who was holding the apple with her left hand, drops the apple and looks over to see the costumer.
“I’m sorry, miss! Excuse me.” apologizes the man politely as he then goes back to chatting with another costumer.
“You should be more careful, Yuuji. That girl doesn’t have very good eyesight, after all.” said the woman the costumer named Yuuji was talking to.
“Really? I didn’t know.” Yuuji replied, as they got up and walked away.
Sakura stared out with a blank expression as she heard the secretive whispers of the townsfolk;
“You know that girl is blind, right? I heard it was because her parents abused her so many times by the left eye.”
“Really, I heard sand got thrown into the eye and it never recovered.”
“She’s very poor, too, they say her parents abandoned her because of her blind eye.”
“How awful! I’m glad I can see just fine!” whispered the feminine voice as the conversation blended in with the rest of the chattering of the town.
Syaoran got up and faced Sakura, lifting the basket of apples with him, “come on, let’s go.” he smiled and held out his hand to the young girl.
As if she never heard the whispers of the town people, Sakura smiled a small smile and took the hand warmly held out to her.
...Japan...
“Alright, Kurogane, give your son a little break.” called an energetic blond haired vampire, Fai is his name now, and the slim man was smiling his coy smiles.
“Hmph.” growled a tall black haired ninja, lowering his sword, Ginryu.
“Whew.” gave a younger look-alike Kurogane, his expression filled with relief as he sighed, he then contracted in pain by the action. The young (cough cough 17 year old cough) man was scraped up, top to bottom, with bruises and cuts of all sizes. His slightly shaggy, raven black hair swayed with his movements as he lowered his sword as well. “Man, I thought you were gonna kill me.” complained the look-alike Kurogane, collapsing onto the ground, the energy sapped away from his sparing with his father.
“Train more and you won’t get hurt, Kyokazu.” said a soft feminine voice that came from behind Fai as the man lifted his head in acknowledgment, even if it was soft, the cocky, matter of fact tone could be heard as clear as day.
“Yeah, yeah, yeesh.” waved the teenager called Kyokazu as he sat up and winced. “You and Dad must be related or something, you both say the same things, Yuui.” joked Kyokazu as he got up and brushed himself off. He was wearing a ninja-in-training dark blue and black outfit, that was ripped in multiple places by a blade.
“Or the idiot Fai is rubbing off on you.” muttered an annoyed Kurogane who was sheathing his sword and sitting down on the wooden deck like floor that Fai was sitting by.
“Kuro-pom-pom, you’re so mean!” cried a hurt Fai as he bopped him in the head. Which just made the experienced warrior even more mad.
“Stop that!”
“Wahh! Yuui, help me!” the former magician pleaded as Kurogane started unsheathing his sword menacingly, he glomp-hugged his 16-year-old daughter who had the same looks as himself.
The teenager sighed and pushed her father off of her and put a firm hand on top of Kurogane’s head. “Stop you two.”
For some reason, Yuui could always somehow stop the wrath of Kurogane when she was around. The three men looked up to her as a motherly figure even if Yuui is only 16. She acts way older than she is, more mature than her father even.
Coughing to conceal his laughter, Kyokazu snickered and went to go get the first aid kit.
“And you.” Yuui said as she pointed her left index finger at Kurogane’s son, “Sit, stay.” she commanded strictly. Kyokazu muttered darkly as he did what he was told, sitting beside Fai.
“Ha, ha! Aww! A Kyo-kun puppy!” cheered the blond haired magician, lifting up his long arms to enlarge his excitement.
“Not that, again!” growled a slightly surprised Kurogane, surprised that Fai remembered the Country of Oto’s aliases they used.
“That was a nickname you used for Dad, Fai? On you’re journey?” asked a curious Kyokazu, his piercing crimson red eyes filled with interest. He leaned in closer to the two former travelers.
“Yes that’s right, with Sakura and Syaoran.” nodded a calm Fai as he smiled to himself, looking in the distance, remembering his bittersweet journey.
“...” Kurogane looked over to his companion and son, many different emotions swirling in his auburn eyes.
The calm silence was broken by the shuffling of feet as Yuui appeared, first aid kit in tow. She noticed all eyes turn to her and reddened a little, “did I interrupt something?”
Fai shook his head, “no, we’re just enjoying the cherry blossoms, aren’t we?” he asked the two ninjas.
“Sure.” replied a gruff Kurogane, shrugging and getting out a bottle of sake.
“Yeah...” smiled a distracted Kyokazu, barley noticing his serious wounds. He flinched as Yuui held his shoulder, making him stay still as she cleaned his cuts.
Yuui kept quiet after that, focusing on her work, as she healed Kyokazu with some basic spells she learned from a spell book. Her sky blue eyes determined to cure her best friend from childhood. Her shoulder length light blond hair falling in front of her eyes, she brushed it behind her ears and continued healing.
Fai noticed her determination, and her eyes brought up a memory of long ago...
...Country of Oto...Cat’s Eye Cafe...
The sound of someone washing dishes could be heard. A young girl dressed in a usual black and white maid outfit was cleaning the dirty dishes by hand. The squeaking of the sponge on the clean dishes could be heard throughout the empty café.
“You don’t have to hurry, Sakura-chan.” reassured a smiling Fai, cleaning the tea cups.
“Okay, but I’m almost finished anyway.” replied a cheerful Sakura as she paused for a second, smiling. A little white creature was washing dishes with the girl quietly.
“You’re working so hard.” observed Fai as he walked over to where Sakura and Mokona were cleaning the dishes, clad in his café outfit.
“I can hardly do anything for any of my traveling companions.” she said while going back to cleaning the dishes. “So anything I can do, I want to do!”
The girl paused and held the clean plate with suds on it.
“And someday...if only just a little...I’d like to bear my share of everyone’s burden and...pain...” murmured the girl, she dozed off at the end of her sentance.
Fai caught the young girl named Sakura and said to himself, “You really are a good kid, Sakura-chan.” he smiled a genuine smile, “You make even a guy like me with no room to worry about others...hope that you’ll be happy in the end.”
...Present...
Fai smiled to himself and looked up to the twilight colored sky, ‘I hope it ends well like before...’ He sent an invisible prayer to his former companions.
“Sakura...Syaoran...looks like it’s almost time...”
