And random trivia, this is my first Giva fic.

Musings

He hates to see her vulnerable, so easily taken advantage of. Although she is one of the strongest women he has ever met, she does have a vulnerability which you don’t see until you really get to know her properly.

Sometimes it’s a look she gets on her deceivingly delicate face, sometimes it’s in an almost hidden glint in her eyes and sometimes it’s in a simple gesture she makes.

Whatever it is, he knows that there is a vulnerable side to Ziva David which can take over when she’s least suspecting it no matter how hard she tries to stop it.

He had seen it.

The time she shot Ari, the time she helped him regain his memory, the time she was framed by her old partner. And most recently, when she nearly died while undercover, it nearly tore him apart to see her broken and not trusting her judgement.

And yet as he glances at her peacefully sleeping form curled up on his chest, he thinks that maybe there is a good kind of vulnerable.
