Title: For The Moment

Summary: this is from the episode Homewrecker. I saw the kid Eric who was gay and I was like awww now he is all alone. And then I remembered him saying “Who’s going to help me, I have no one left.” And this little plot bunny went into my head. So I wrote this drabble. btw there are spoilers

For The Moment

Eric walked out of the office of the LAPD. He wasn’t really sure where he was going to go. He had no one, his whole family was dead. He stood there, staring at the night lit city.

“Eric.” He heard a soft voice behind him. He turned and saw his boyfriend, Justin Darcy, standing behind him.

“What are…what are you doing here?” Eric asked.

“I figured you would need a place to stay.” Justin said softly.

The two boys stared at each other for a moment, then Eric flew into Justin’s embrace. “They’re dead. They’re all dead. It should have been me.”

“Everything is gonna be okay. It’s gonna be fine.” Justin wrapped his arms tightly around his sobbing boyfriend. He pressed a kiss to his temple and led him to his car.

“what’s gonna happen to me?” Eric asked softly.

Justin shook his head. “In a few months you’ll be 18. No matter what, you’ll be with me. It’ll be ok.”

Eric smiled and just feel back into the embrace. He knew that soon he was going to have to face the world and the homophobes and all the problems in the world. He was gonna cry and have to face the murder of his family. He would have to deal with the fact that his father was a bigamist. But for this moment, as long as he was in Justin’s arms, things for be okay. For the moment, nothing could touch him.

He was going to be okay.
