Just a side note Ama is my character and in this chapter she is Carlisle's first wife, Esme will come in the next chapter. And also on Alice06's request Rosalie, Alice, and Bella are sisters, so please don't say they aren't because that was Alice06's idea not mine! ;D

Summary: Imagine Forks, WA in the early 1800s and the Swan girls are servants to the wealthy Cullen family, what happens when the youngest Swan falls for the youngest Cullen? BxE, JxA, RxE Bella POV

Chapter one: Rain mixed with blood

xXx

With the window, twilight pierces in, night is but an hour off, Mistress Cullen lays in the large bed making her tiny body seem even smaller, her faint breathing is the only sound in the hollow darkness. The door behind her comes open, and entering in is a young man who looks no older then thirty years of age, his pale face is cascaded by sorrow and gilt as he looks into the girls emerald eyes. Me and my two sisters, Rosalie and Alice stand by the window in silence, Master Cullen's sons stand around the bed, but there is one missing, the youngest, I do not know his name; but from what I've heard is that he is almost always sick.

“It is possible. Not everyone will forget everything. Some will always remember somethings.”

She smiles, a weak yet feeble, smile as he walks slowly over towards her- his hands are closed and in them is a small faded pink rose, the door opens again and in walks, whom I presume to be the youngest Cullen boy-he is from what I've heard the same age as myself, he is tall like his two brothers master Emmett and master Jasper, but his skin is much paler, paler then his mother whom is laying in the bed, and his cheeks are sunken in, his golden hair shines along with his emerald eyes as he takes his place around the bed.

“Carlisle, please promise me that we will meet again,” She pauses as she begins to cough, it is with this cough that Carlisle winces as he sees her tiny frame shaking.

“Rest, Ama, you may not have much longer.”

He winces as he speaks the last words, and taking slow steps he walks over to the bed-he places the rose into her hands-her pale, and gnarled hands gripped around a small faded pink rose.

“I promise with all of my heart, that we will meet again, in the next life.”

Ama closed her emerald eyes, relaxed, and felt his hands gently stroking her hand, his sweet voice and embrace felt like a dream. She wanted to touch his face to see if he wasn't a dream; But she couldn’t, she was too weak. Her hand felt like it weighed a thousand pounds. She couldn’t lift it, not even to make the barest of gestures.

“Love, I will wait for you until the end, even if that takes my whole life.”

Her eyes opened slowly and she looked up into the caring eyes of the beautiful creature holding her next to him. Being there in his embrace was the best feeling in the world. She couldn’t think of anything more she wanted at this moment, and within seconds her eyes closed again and her breathing slowed, everything around her faded and the rose fell from her weak grasp, Carlisle stroked her cheek with the back of his hand and kissed her pale lips tenderly. “You're as beautiful now as you were the day we met.”

It was with those words that we were all ushered out of the room, me, Alice, and Rosalie had to go back to our work, while the Cullen boys went their own ways, as I walked towards the kitchen I turned around and saw the youngest Cullen boy he was standing by the door to his parents room, he looked extremely ill and exhausted, I felt sorry for him. He always seemed to get sick even at the smallest things.

"Isabella hurry!"

I looked forward and saw Rosalie standing in front of the kitchen with her hands over her hips, I sighed picking up them hems of my dress and walked towards her.

"What took you ever so long? You know we are to get making dinner!"

Rosalie handed me an apron and a bowl with some baking mix in it, I grabbed a wooden spoon and began to stir.

"Rosa, its Edward, she was thinking about him."

I turned to face Alice, Edward, was that youngest Cullen boy's name? I liked it, it was very soft sounding, something about it reminded me of our late father.

"Your lying, she wouldn't dare think of that! You and I both know that she knows better than to fall for a Cullen boy."

It was a good thing that neither of them knew that I was silently listening as I cooked.

xXx

Dinner was served at exactly seven o'clock, but as we passed the food around I felt my heart sink as I didn't see Edward, I wondered if he had gotten sicker and wasn't able to come and eat.

"You girls may go and take care of the cleaning now."

Alice, Rosalie, and myself all bowed to Master Cullen and walked out of the kitchen in silence, as I passed one of the larger windows I spotted Edward, he was dancing in the rain, and I couldn't help but giggle to myself.

"May I ask what you're doing out here, in the rain none the less."

Edward turned to face me and smiled a beautiful half smile that sent butterflies into my stomach, and just as he was about to answer I felt a wave of dizziness come over me and I fell to the ground as everything around me turned black, but just before I black out I heard him run over to my side and I felt him shake me then everything faded and I heard my fathers voice as I passed out.
