Lily, Rosalie, Kristen, and the Marauders

Disclaimer: i own nothin, Nada, zip, zap, zippo, and any other word that means nothing. tehe

This story is about Lily Evans, Rosalie Brooks, Kristen Goggin, and the Marauders ( James potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, and Peter Pettigrew. In this story Voldemort doesn't ruin everyone's lives. Instead he gets caught and ends up in Azcaban, but that comes later in the story. I made up the characters Rosalie and Kristen and peter kind of disappears in this story for a while but he comes back and helps to safe the wizarding world in his own little way.

beep, beep, beep

“Ugh,” a girl with fiery red hair and emerald green eyes groaned. This girl was Lily Evans. She looked like every other

seventeen-year old girl, but she wasn’t. She was a witch and today just happened to be the day she would get on the

Hogwarts Express for her seventh year at Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. This year she was head girl, the

position she had dreamed about since she first found out about it in first year. She still couldn’t believe that they had

picked her as head girl. When her letter had came over the summer she had screamed when she saw the head girl badge.

flashback

Lily was sitting at her kitchen table reading a book. It was an extremely boring Wednesday afternoon. Until she heard a

tapping on the window. She looked over to see a pretty brown owl at the window. She opened it and the owl flew in and

landed on the table. Lily untied the letter. It was from Hogwarts. This was the letter she had been waiting for all summer.

She gave the owl a treat and it flew off. The letter seemed heavier than last year’s. ‘Maybe it’s just my imagination,’ she

thought. She ripped open the letter and her eyes immediately saw a shiny new badge. Lily took out the badge and read the

inscription to herself. “Lily Evans Head Girl,” it read. She couldn’t believe it. Once the shock wore off she screamed and

started jumping around the house yelling, “ I’m head girl, I’m head girl.”

Her sister, Petunia, came down to see what all the noise was about and once she saw Lily she yelled, “freak” and ran back to her room.

Lily’s sister was always calling her rude names because Lily was a witch. Normally this would upset Lily, but nothing could spoil her mood. Lily’s

mum, Emily Evans, came down to see what all the ruckus was. When she saw Lily she began to laugh and asked, “ what’s all this about Lilyflower?”

“ I made head girl mum!” she exclaimed. Mrs. Evans went over to her daughter and hugged her.

“ Congratulations flower,” she said.

“ Thanks mum,” Lily said. She went upstairs to write her friends, Rosalie and Kristen, and tell them the good news.

Rosalie(though her friends called her Rose or Rosie most of the time) was a metamorphagus.

She liked to change her appearance regularly, but most of the time is consisted of long blond hair that went down to her

waist in soft curls. She was good at controlling her emotions, so her appearance didn’t change on its own to easily, except

for one streak of hair. The only time her hair would ever change completely was if the feeling was so strong she couldn’t

control it. This hair streak changed colors with her emotions. Red when she felt hatred, orange when she was mad, yellow

when she was happy, green when she was worried or jealous, blue when she was sad, purple when she felt shy or embarrassed,

pink when she felt love for someone, and black when she didn’t feel anything. When she felt mixed emotions her hair streak

would become all the colors she was feeling. But know one knew about what the colors meant. Because she wouldn’t tell anybody

because she didn’t want anybody to know what she was feeling all the time. She kept her eyes a pretty sky blue color all

the time though. Rosalie was very shy, timid, nice, and caring. She was also one of the smartest girls in their year, right

after Lily, and she could play the guitar and write beautiful songs to sing ( though only Lily and Kristen knew about the

playing and singing). Once you got Rosalie to open up to you, you found that she was a very funny and outgoing person.

Kristen was the complete opposite of Rosalie. Kristen was outgoing, funny, witty, sarcastic, and could make friends with

about any person she met. She had straight black hair that went down to her shoulders and navy blue eyes. She was

pretty and had a great body, therefore she had many guys drooling over her. But she didn’t give most of these guys the

time of day because she was perfectly happy and didn’t need a man to make her feel complete like some of the girls at

Hogwarts. Lily began to write her letter.

August 17, 1976

Dear Rosalie and Kristen,

Hey guys!! What’s up? I’ve missed you. So, how is your summers so far? Mine is pretty boring, but i got head girl. I’m so

excited. I wonder who head boy is? It’s probably Remus or maybe it’s that cute Ravenclaw boy. We should meet up at

Diagon Alley and get stuff for school together. How about on Saturday? Write back soon.

She duplicated the letter with her wand and tied them to her owl, Toffee. She sent the owl off and went back downstairs

to look at the rest of the papers that had come in her Hogwarts letter. A couple hours later a white owl with a brown spot

came and tapped on the window. It was Rosalie’s owl, Leah. Lily untied the letter and gave the owl a treat. The owl flew

off as Lily began to read the letter.

August 17, 1976

Dear Lily,

Hey!! I’ve missed you too. So far my summer has been fine. Congrats on making head girl. I know it’s always been your

dream to become head girl. I’ve got some good news too. I’m prefect this year. So we’ll get to work a lot together this

year. Yay!! I think going to Diagon Alley together is a great idea. I’ll see you there at 10 a.m. on Saturday. Oh got to go

When Lily finished reading the letter she smiled. This year was going to be great. She was head girl and Rosalie was a

prefect. The next few days passed uneventfully. When Saturday arrived the girls met at the Leaky Cauldron and did their

school shopping. They got new books, quills, ink, school robes, some owl treats, and some candy to replenish their stash.

After they were done shopping they ate ice cream and then said their goodbyes and went home.

end flashback

Lily got up and went to take a shower and get ready. After her shower she put on a pair of jeans and an emerald green

shirt ( a/n: link to outfit on profile just click on the link to and you can see all of the outfits that the

people wear in my stories) She put on some light makeup and made her way downstairs. When she got to the

kitchen she saw her mum making pancakes and eggs. It smelt delicious. Lily filled her plate and ate. Once she was done

she went upstairs to do some last minuet packing. When she was done packing she levitated her trunk downstairs while

carrying her bag and owl cage. Her dad helped her put her trunk in to the car. He gave her a hug and said goodbye. Lily

and her mum got into the car and drove to King’s Cross station. They talked the whole way. When they got there Lily got

her things and said goodbye to her mum. She made her way to the barrier that led to platform nine and three-quarters.

She looked around to see that no muggles were watching and went through the barrier, ready to start the new year.
