What Did You Do?

The dream is so real, she can feel his breath on her skin, she can taste his tongue in her mouth, and she can see those warm brown eyes staring longingly down at her. She feels his crisp clean sheets scrunch under her body, she can smell his old spice lingering on his skin, and she can hear him moan her name just as she moans his. She would swear that this isn’t a dream that is until the fact that she is nudged awake from her side. Her eyes fly open and she’s looking at an off white ceiling. Her heart is thumping from her too hot for words dream and her confusion as to where she is.

“Case” She hears him groan from her side and she remembers, she spent the night with Cappie, her fiancé. She sits up clutching the not so clean sheets to her naked body. She looks down at him, his eyes are closed but she knows he’s awake. She takes her left hand, the one with the .5 carat diamond on it, and slaps his forehead with a smile. He groans louder but a smile plays at his lips when he is done, he opens his eyes and looks up at her.

“Why did you wake me up?” She leans down onto his bare chest as she starts playing with his brown hair. “I was having an amazing dream.”

“I know I could hear it, that’s why I nudged you, you were getting me all bothered.” They share a laugh but Casey immediately becomes concerned as to how much she must talk in her sleep.

“I was dreaming about a gorgeous brown eyed boy, with brown hair, that knew just how to rock my world.” Casey laughs as she runs her fingers across his chest. She’s not lying when she says it, but just giving him the illusion it’s him. He gives her a wide smile as he starts to play with one of her gold locks.

“I got to run Cap, I’ll see you later.” She pushes herself off him a few minutes after he stops playing with her hair and closes his eyes again. She places a gentle kiss on his cheek as he moan’s his goodbye. She throws on a Cyprus-Rhodes, her Alma Mater, sweatshirt and jeans and walks out of Cappie’s new apartment which he shares with Heath and Beaver. Beaver was sitting in front of the television, a bowl of Cap’n Crunch in his lap and an I Love Lucy marathon playing. He waves bye as she walks swiftly out the door.
