Okay, I bet you are wondering “Why the hell is she starting a new story when she has that god forsaken long “Of Storm and Fire” story?!”

No worries, I am still writing OSAF. I love that story and there is no way I would abandon it. It's just that this idea has been bugging me for god knows how long and I had to get it out. I'll try to update OSAF and WITD as equally as possible, but I will not stop either of the fics.

This story came to me as an idea of an original story. I wanted a write it, but I wanted peoples opinion on it too( besides my close friends). I didn't want to write it and put it one some original story website for reasons even I'm not sure of. At the same time, I have bee dying to write a NaruSasu, but I couldn't come up with a stable idea for it. That's when it hit me.

I want to “practice” writing Whispers in the Dark, so I decided to make it into a fanfiction. But that also included putting things from Naruto into it and all that stuff.

Anything Naruto related in this story is NOT in the original idea. Nothing in the Naruto universe is in the original story, besides some of the way one of the main characters acts (who goes by the name Cian, who Naruto will be taking the place of in this fic).

Some of, more most of, the characters in here might be OCC. (Sasuke, Shikamaru, and Sai to be exact.) Since I am “practicing” this story, I want them to be as close to the original character that they are taking the place of as possible.

I've been having the dire urge to write a NaruSasu, and this is a NaruSasu. At first I planned for there not to be much yaoi in this, but after more ideas for Whispers in the Dark came, I changed my mind. This story also had its name changed three times. I finally really like this title and it wont be changed again. And if this goes as planned, then I plan to write a sequel to it. But that is a maybe so... Anyway...

The prologue isn't to great, and it's short, but none of my chapters will be this short ever, trust me.

There are many tales in religion, folklore, and mythology around the world of creatures who hide themselves among humans. The creatures are said to be supernatural beings that are generally described as malevolent spirits, sometimes called fallen angels. They are frequently depicted as a force that may be conjured insecurely controlled but it is common knowledge that the creatures in those tales are portrayed as evil, or as a source of evil. These creatures go by the name of “Demons”.

They are said to be able to take the souls of humans and that they are pure evil. That they can enter a persons body, posses them, turning them evil and condemning them to hell. It is said that they were shape shifters, being able to shift into that of a women or a man of any age or into an animal. Also that they had dark energy that they could use to cause mass destruction and kill people from a distance. Exorcism, talismans, charms; holy water, crosses; foul odors from an animal's insides, and fire were said to drive demons away and some even kill them.

They were feared for ages, people constantly taking precautions, until the demons started to show themselves out in the open.

They had gotten many attacks from brave humans when they revealed themselves, but no human was able to kill them. The demons presented themselves to the leaders of many countries, stating that they came in peace and just wanted to start a country or start places for demons to live within different countries or places were very little humans lived for their own kind to live, just as all the humans do. But when the humans agreed to this, there were not many demons that showed themselves in human society. Very few let out that they were demons, and it surprised a lot of people because these demons could be anyone, someone they passed on the street regularly.

But places were created for demons to live, like in some of New Zealand, parts of Russia, an island near Japan, a small part of Africa, some in Alaska and Antarctica, a island by Dominica island, a very small part of Brazil near the coast, a place in Madagascar and in Australia, plus other smaller places.

People avoided these places at all cost, not wanting to be “eaten” or harmed by any “evil” demons. Most all countries did not welcome demons warmly, they would not attack the demons, but they deeply dislike them. One of those places being America.

Besides the very small part of Alaska, America had not made any reservations for any demons. Demon's were devils work, as they saw it. They symbolize all the sins humans could ever do. Some demons were still known to be there though, mainly down south and in the west. But there were hardly any at all in the east side of the Appellation Mountains. Most all Americans wonder why the east side of the Appellations have rarely any demons, but the west side has so much more.

Little do they know that the reason for it resides in Black Mountain, North Carolina. But that one reason is going to be tested after one young male human sticks his nose a little do far in the wrong place and gains a lot more then he barging for.

But who knew that golden haired angel could lead to so much trouble. Sasuke Uchiha sure didn't.
