“Alright, attack me.” Sasuke said. In front of him stood a 14 year old boy who stared across the room. He was very similar to Sasuke, he had the same face, the same hair except for a red tint in his hair, and the same cold eyes. He rushed to Sasuke, whipping out two kunai knives for backup. He unleashed a flurry of punches and kicks ending with a mid-air cartwheel in which he threw the kunais at Sasuke. Sasuke moved to the side swiftly to avoid the two kunai. Sasuke chuckled. “Good. Your moves are improving. But..” In an instant, Sasuke disappeared and reappeared behind the boy. “You need to keep your guard up, Kyo” Sasuke activated his Sharingan and Kyo fell to his knees. “One day, you too will gain the power of these eyes, but for now your two tomoed Sharingan will have to do.” Sasuke deactivated his Sharingan. Kyo looked up.
“Father?” He asked. Sasuke stopped in his tracks.
“What is it?”
Cautiously, Kyo continued, “ I want a hard mission, an assassination.”
Sasuke turned to face him.
“Heh. An assassination mission, huh?” He laughed. “Well, I do have a mission for you.”
Kyo looked up in excitement. “Really?” he said excitedly.
“Yes. Two shinobi spies were seen on there way to their village, they were reported earlier and this will be your first true test of skill. Kill them and bring me their headbands.” Sasuke explained. Kyo jumped up.
“I won’t fail you, Father.” He said. As he turned to leave, Sasuke grabbed him by his arm.
“These spies are presumably of Jonin level. Be on your guard. They may have support with them in a camp.” Sasuke explained. Sasuke once again activated his Sharingan. “Come back with their headbands or don’t come back at all. Do you understand?”
“Yes, Father.”
“Now go.” With that Kyo disappeared out of the room. After he was gone, a woman with long red hair walked in.
“You sent him to capture the spies?” she asked.
“No. I sent him to kill them.” Sasuke replied.
The woman glared at Sasuke angrily. “You sent our son out to fight two Jonin who probably have a camp full of support?! Why?” She interrogated. Sasuke looked back at her. “It’s not your concern, Karin. The boy asked for a challenging mission and I gave him one. He’s my son. I know his potential. He’ll be fine.” Karin walked away worried of the fate of her son.
