A/N: This idea kind of popped into my head while being bored in Earth Space Science. I wasn't actually going to write it until I found my Dear Kira Darling isn't feeling the best, so I hurried and wrote it as best I could to raise her spirits. Because we all know yaoi is chicken noodle soup for the fan girl soul. Kira is so so so amazing, I love her to death. coughreviewcough
Teach Me Like This
Sora was trying - honestly, he was. He was trying his damned hardest to pay attention to that math problem, the one with the "x's" and "y's" and all those little numbers next to them, but it was so fucking difficult!
Seriously, if the sex god of your high school was sitting next to you, soft silver hairs at the back of his neck tempting you to run your fingers over them, his hair in a high pony tail, sexy black thick rimmed glasses, and that delicious looking bottom lip being worried between teeth, sitting next to you, helping you with your homework, you'd be distracted too, right?
...Right?
Or maybe it was just Sora?
The boy sighed, sliding his book forward on the table and finding a comfortable place in his hands where his face was smothered in; giving up like a child. Because not only was Sora frustrated because he was completely math-retarded, but also hot and bothered because the ass hole next to him decided to where low cut jeans to the library. Why where low cut jeans to the library? Why not something simple? Like... nothing? That's simple, right? Or was Sora's mind straying too far?
"Sora, you're never going to get anything done if you keep giving up," The smooth lecture dripped from the older boy's mouth like silken honey. The dammed kid was just shaming Sora for not doing his homework, and the brunet was still getting turned on. How messed up is that?
"Ri-ku," The boy whined, pouting to his best ability. It wasn't his fault math was a foreign language to him! Wasn't his oh-so sexy tutor supposed to be helping him anyway? "I don't get any of this stuff! It's all just numbers and letters and sign thingies that I do not know what to do with! Can't you just... do this for me?" Blue eyes sheepishly looked up from his hands, peeking out to see a chuckling Riku, his pearly white teeth shinning in the dim light of the library.
"Sora, I'm here to help you. If you don't get it, tell me, and I'll show you step by step, okay?" The brunet sighed, pulling back his math book and pointing to the problem he left off on. "Alright, let's see this. What is X plus Y squared plus Z squared, if X equals twelve, Y equals eight, and Z equals three?" The silver haired God grabbed a pencil, writing the information on Sora's homework sheet, and writing the variables on the far right hand side. "So, Sora. What you do now is substitute the numbers; rewriting the problem without the letters. So now it's twelve plus eight squared plus three squared, okay?"
Sora nodded, trying to keep up with Riku talking and drawing on the paper. He tried to hold his breath when their elbows bumped, but continued to follow the silky voice only directed to him.
"Eight squared is eight times eight, which is...?" Aquamarine eyes were on him, he knew it. The brunet took a second to think.
"Uhh, sixty four?" He looked up to see a soft smile, Riku nodding and writing the number on the paper.
"And three squared?"
"Nine." Sora grinned, looking back down to see the problem completely simplified. Now all he had to do was add. Riku then arranged the last of the numbers in a line, and Sora added them up easily. "Eighty six is the answer!" The brunet proudly declared, writing it next to the equation. Riku leaned back in his chair, smiling at the young boy's enthusiasm.
"Can you do the rest now?" Sora looked up, smiling widely and nodding his head frantically. "And next time ask for help if you get stuck, instead of giving up?" Riku rolled his eyes with a chuckled when given a pointed look by the brunet.
"Oh hush," Sora said, giggling and continuing on with the rest of the problems.
Fifteen minutes later, and Riku had noticed Sora was staring blankly at a piece of paper, a dejected look on his face.
"Problem?" The silveret asked curiously, putting aside the outline to an English essay. Sora looked up, fear in his eyes for a second before he smiled nervously and started to fold the paper.
"O-oh, of course not! Just thinking of old-"
Sora's breathing stopped when Riku grabbed for the note, a small smirk on his face as he spoke, "No notes during class, Sora-" Before Sora snatched the note away from him, stuffing it into his pocket, wide eyes looking into aquamarine.
"S-sorry," The brunet muttered, going back to his work. Riku quirked a brow, curious to know what was triggering Sora's odd behavior this evening. He sighed, figuring he'd best wait to ask if he wanted to avoid arguing; besides, he didn't want to make Sora angry at him. They had just deepened their friendship; before Sora was just the boy he'd known from Grade school. The cute kid with the goofy grin that always had a 'good morning.' Now Sora was the cute kid with the goofy grin that was having trouble with math.
There was a silence for another few minutes, the sounds of pencils drawing on paper the only thing that could be heard on this side of the library. Riku could tell Sora's face was getting red, but why? Why Sora hot? It was actually quite cold in the room when Riku thought about it. He looked down at Sora's attire; light blue jeans pants with a tight-fitting tang top. He couldn't be too warm in that...
Riku was about to go back to his work when his eye caught something. He looked, seeing the hem of Sora's white top ride up slightly near the pant lining; revealing milky skin. Riku quickly looked away, not to let Sora have any idea the silveret was watching him. He felt a small heat to his cheeks, but tried to push the image from his mind as he continued to write.
"Riku?" Sora asked timidly, looking up from his homework assignment. "Can you help me with this one?" The silveret leaned over, looking over Sora's skinny shoulder to read the problem. He nodded, pointing at the ext book's question.
"Alright, what is three times X times Y minus Z over Z, if X is twelve, Y eight, and Z three. So, what do you start off doing?" Sora captured his bottom lip between his teeth, worrying it as he reread the problem and put the pencil tip to the paper, rewriting the problem with the substitutions. Riku nodded. "Good, so now it's three times twelve times eight minus three, over three. Start form left to right." The brunet nodded, drawing numbers while solving the equation. Riku watching his hand intently, unaware of his chin resting on the brunet's bicep.
"So... one eighty five divided by three... equals... ninety... five?" The silveret smiled, sitting straight and ruffling Sora's chocolate locks.
"Good job, Sor!" The silveret smirked, taking out his cell phone to look at the time.
"Hey," Sora said, waving his finger at Riku. "No cell phones in class." The brunet said smugly, folding his arms as Riku laughed, putting his phone back into his pocket.
"Well, Teacher, I hate to inform you it is past nine and our session has sadly ended." Riku smirked when he watched Sora's eyes turned sad and his lips turned to a pout, then immediately springing back to life with the best attempt at a smile.
"Alrightie, Ri!" The brunet cheered, getting up and packing his things in his bag, throwing it over his shoulder and waving. "Thanks for all the help! You think you could help me study for the final next week?" The silveret nodded, kind of disappointed Sora didn't ask him for any other tutor lessons that week. Riku packed his things as well, watching Sora smile and leave.
The brunet's heart was beating a million miles an hour, trying his best to keep his calm until he at least got off the library's properties. He still felt the tingle when Riku's chin was on his shoulder's, and by god, Sora needed to go home now and take a shower. He was halfway out the door when he heard a voice calling his name. He looked over to see Riku waving, his backpack on one arm. The brunet sighed as he closed the door to the outside, waiting for the god calling his name.
"Hey, Sora," The silveret said, smiling slightly as he opened the door for the brunet. "You walk here, right? Need a ride?" Sora's cheeks tinted, but he nodded nonetheless, following the older boy down the walkway to the parking lot. Riku shuffled through his pockets, jingling his keys and taking them out. Pressing one of the buttons on his key chain, his car blinked and unlocked.
Riku so kindly opened Sora's door for him, granting him a smile. The brunet thanked him and climbed in, buckling his seat belt as Riku got in on his side. The engine started, purring as headlights illuminated the night. Sora held onto his back tightly, gulping nervously. The older boy looked over and smiled sincerely, pulling out of the parking space and onto the road.
"Directions?" He asked. Sora mumbled them as each turn cam around, and after about ten minutes of slightly awkward silence, they had a good five minutes until Sora was at his house. Riku looked over, stopping at a red-light. "You alright? You look kinda antsy..." He trailed off. Sora's cheeks tinted in the darkness of the night.
"Y-yeah, just... tired. Nervous about Math exams, y'know?" He fibbed. Of course there was a concern about how he was going to do while testing, but the bigger problem here was Riku and him alone in a dark car. He watched the silveret's face bright up, smiling widely as they patiently waited for the stop light.
"I'm sure you'll do great, Sor. You shouldn't worry," Riku soothed, eyes traveling form the brunet to the still red light. Sora's heart started to beat faster as every second passed, the red light refusing to change green. He shyly looked over to the silveret, the red light illuminating his figure in the darkness of night. The streets were unusually empty, no cars had passed, no sign of life around them. Riku looked own, their eyes connecting.
And before Sora could breath in and look away, lips were attacking his in a fierce kiss.
Hands gripped his cheeks, one running back into his hair, threading pianist fingers through brown locks. A tongue dipped into his mouth, coaxing the burnet to enjoy the kiss. Shyly, the brunt replied, meshing his lips back, massaging his own against the older's mouth. Sora's mind shut off, wondering if he was imagining all this.
As they parted for air, a small string of saliva broke when their faces were a decent amount of space away. Looking up to the stop light, it was green that had turned to red again, and Riku started to laugh.
Maybe it was a bad idea to accept Riku's proposal for a tutor. Maybe he could have picked someone else for his math tutor than his biggest crush ever. But ever since Riku decided kisses and dating was repayment for the tutor sessions, Sora didn't mind so much.
After all, when he's with Riku, he concentrates best with kisses down his neck while he solves complex algebra equations. It gets his creative thoughts flowing.
