We all know Shino as the boy who loves bugs. All bugs. One fateful day changed that.

Shino waited all week to go bug hunting. It was a wet week, and the forest was flooded. Finally the water was gone so he could look for bugs. He jumped through the forest, and landed in a cloud of mosquitoes, freshly hatched. Shino didn’t give them a second thought. He was a bug master, right?

Please don’t suck my blood, he asked them politely.

HAHAHAHAHA!! As if. Loser. The gigantic black cloud of mosquitoes swarmed Shino.

He let loose a blood-curdling scream.

Garra looked out the window of the Kazekage tower. Suddenly the window shattered and he clamped his hands over his ears. An ear-piercing scream was deafening him; it came from the direction of Konoha.

Shino never again thought twice about swatting a mosquito.
