PROLOGUE

Here, in the world of EFX, we keep hold of memories, of dreams, of nightmares. Nothing ever really...goes away. It rests here…waiting…for someone to call upon it once more; waiting…for someone to use their imagination.

Remember that rocket ship that you drew in the fourth grade? It's here! Or how about the time you dreamed of a big, winged dragon that was gonna devour you at any moment? It's here, too! Maybe you wondered whatever happened to that favourite bicycle of yours…or to that little bear that was your best companion. Or how about your first visit to the circus when ev'rything was magical? Here…all of them are here somewhere.

Yes, I know what you want. You want to see things fantastic, things magical, things tinged with wonder.

Let me see… You want magic. You want to believe there are still things that cannot be explained. Done! And you are looking for yesterday's happiness. You want something to make you laugh again. No problem! What's that? You want a visit with creatures from another planet? Well, that's a bit of a stretch, but definitely do-able.
