Hola, peeps!! Here's my newest story!!

Anywho, this actually has a dedication :) I can't exactly say for sure she'll read this, but this is for my BFF Jamais plus :) She'll get everything in it (references everywheeeeeere XD)

To make things make sense kinda, Shou is me; Juudai's my boyfriend (I love hiiiiiiim); and Johan is Jamais plus. Manjoume iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis uuuum I dunno XD Let's say it's my friend Sho (he's Japanese X3 he's ALSO a pain in my butt)

The brunnete looked at the blunette before him. They were standing on the stairs leading up to the second floor of the Osiris dorms. They had been in Manjoume’s dorm room for the blunette, Shou. It was his birthday.

Shou and Juudai had been going out for seven months at that time. They weren’t very serious, but everyone told them they were a match made in Heaven.

So it came as a shock to Juudai when his rather short boyfriend had kissed him on the cheek. Shou blushed bright scarlet, and his cheeks felt hot, but in the dark of the night Juudai didn’t notice it.

“I’ll see you on Monday, Aniki…” He said, trying to form the words and hide his nervousness. It had taken a lot of his strength, not that he thought he had any, and pep talks from his brother and Johan.

Johan was his best friend. Shou told him everything, poured his heart out to the taller blunette. Of course, Johan was sometimes reluctant to listen for various reasons, and was quite quarrelsome; Shou wouldn’t have anyone else as his best friend.

“Bye then.” Shou waved as Juudai continued to his dorm room. He walked back into Manjoume’s dorm room.

Upon entering, Johan glomped the smaller blunette.

“So, how did it go?” Shou rolled his eyes. He knew they had all been watching him and Juudai.

“I kissed him on the cheek…” He muttered, knowing that he was going to get hell for not kissing the brunette on the lips.

“Oh my God! Go, Shou! Jeez, a lot of people wouldn’t think you had it in you! I mean you’re usually so quiet in class!” Shou blinked a few times in confusion.

“What? You’re not freaking out that I only kissed him on the cheek?”

“Why would I be? Do you realize how long it took me to get you to just get him on the cheek?” Shou pouted. “Oh no, the cute puppy stare of doom! Ah, ah! Man down, man down!” Johan yelled, falling on his back onto a couch, pretending to be dead.

“Oh, you’re so mature.”

“Hell yeah!” Johan shouted, sitting back up. Shou sighed. Why was he best friends with Johan again?

“Ok, everyone out of my room now,” Manjoume ordered, pointing to the door.

“We don’t need your stupid dorm room!” Johan teased, crossing his arms over his chest. “Me and Shou are going to his room!”

“Whatever, just get out!” As they walked out, the taller blunette stuck his tongue out at Manjoume.

“Johan, could you please be mature for once in your life?” Shou asked, lightly smacking his friend upside the head.

“Why? I’m just having fun.”

“Hyperactive squirrel…”

“That’s sexy squirrel to you, mister!” The smaller of the two slapped his forehead. Why could he not remember why he was friends with Johan?!

“You know, Shou, you and Juudai really are cute together.” Shou blushed.

“No we’re not…”

“Yes, you are. Name the last fight you had that you weren’t both laughing during?”

“Um… well-

“Exactly! You two are obviously good together!”

“Annoying squirrel…”

“Stubborn puppy!”

“Why a puppy?” Shou asked. Then he remembered, and smacked his friend again.

“Not my fault you’re like a cute little puppy when you pout!” Johan complained.

“Whatever…”

“But seriously, oh stubborn one. You two are really well together. I can tell Juudai really likes you.” Shou blushed again, and started smacking his friend in the arm, yelling complaints and cries of protest.

Thanks for being there for me though, Johan…I would never have had to courage to get this far with Juudai without you…

That night, during their sleepover, at about 1 in the morning, Johan fell asleep on the couch in the large dorm room, a magazine on his stomach.

Shou frowned, seeing the non-peaceful expression on his friend’s face. The taller blunette was always restless in his sleep. (If that makes any sense)

He’s been through a lot…And yet he can still smile every day. How is that? Shou wondered to himself. He looked at the stuffed rabbit that Johan held tightly to his chest in his sleep. It was white and the ears and paws with tipped with a darkish teal blue.

“This is how you’d look if you were a bunny!” Johan had once said to Ryo. Shou smiled, looking down at his own stuffed animal. It was a blue bear with a plaid ribbon tied around it’s neck. He’d gotten it from his late father when he was six. He looked over at his friend again, who now looked more peaceful.

“Johan… I hope you know you’ll always be my best friend, no matter what. Even if you reject me, I’ll still be your friend. You mean so much to me… There’s no way I’d ever let you go…” And with that, the smaller blunette also fell asleep, being lulled to sleep by the faint mix of sound of the music he’d left playing, and his friend’s quiet snoring.

Life was good.
