She walks in the silent room, enjoying the comforting silence after the disturbing night they all had. She just finished performing her part of the surgery that seemed to be everlasting and she watches through the glass front in front of her, watching all the other doctors finishing their work too and slowly the room starts to empty little by little.
She takes a deep breath and watches down on her hands, lets the water pour down on them.
Despite all the troubles of the night, she couldn't stop thinking.
First of all, she felt angry after talking to the teens who called the ambulance.
She couldn't understand how someone can be so stupid and she asks herself if she'd also done things like that when she was younger.
Due to the anger, the conversation opened her eyes, and she began to deal with her feelings afterwards. The boy risked his life just because he loves this girl.
How far would she go?
The feelings she has for Erica are new to her, but she likes it although it confuses her at the same time.
She closes her eyes and thinks of the wonderful feelings she had when she kissed Erica in front of the hospital.
Remembered how her legs felt shaky, her heart beating faster, the fluttering feeling in her stomach.
She can't deny it, she is turned on, she was turned on the whole day. She can't help, but thinking about her, the kiss they shared and a few more things that crossed her mind from time to time.
Standing so close beside her during the surgery made it hard to concentrate on her business. She turns off the water and dries her hands, all this movements so automatically that she doesn't bother with opening her eyes to let the imagination, that turns her on once more, go.
She is so lost in her thoughts that she doesn't notice someone coming in.
“Hey,” she hears Erica saying with her voice that can be so soft. Callie turns around, frightening a little, because she didn't expect her.
She feels caught and tries her best to hide it.
“Hey,” she says a little nervously and smiles.
Erica looks at her for a second, noticing the way she looks tonight, the glowing in her eyes and suddenly her heartbeat fastens.
She starts to wash her hands just like Callie did before. Erica doesn't say a word, but she obviously thinks about something.
Callie feels uncomfortable all of sudden, she can't think of something to say and she just can't leave the room without a word.
She thinks about washing her hands again just to do something when Erica turns her head and faces Callie without saying a word.
She drops the thought of doing it, her eyes lock with hers and she thinks that this is the first time after the kiss that they're alone.
“Callie, I...” she starts nervously, not really knowing what to say. “I just...” she tries again, but words fail her and Callie approaches a little, watching Erica drying her hands, her face away from Callie.
“Yes?” Callie asks in a low voice, trying to resist against the will to touch her soft cheek and kiss her gentle lips.
This time, Erica looks at her, stunned by the appearance of the woman in front of her.
Without realizing what actually happens, Callie feels her hand on her cheek, her warm lips softly on her own. She closes her eyes the moment she feels the touch.
There is it again.
The warmth flushes her body, her heart pounds in her chest, her legs feeling shaky.
She looks in her eyes, wanting more. Callie takes a step back, leaning against the handbasin, pulling Erica with her softly.
Erica cups her face with both her hands to pull her into another kiss.
With a sudden pleasure Callie enjoys the feeling of her weight that leans against her body. She holds her tight, opening her mouth a little to let her tongue slide in.
They got lost in their never ending kiss, not being able to breathe or even think and none of them hears the door being opened slowly.
Mark stands by the door, trying not to make a sound, unable to move when he watches the women.
A smile appears on his face and something makes him turn around to leave the women alone.
