Thingy for LJ.

These are the rules-
1. Pick a character, pairing, fandom you like.
2. Turn on your music player and put it on random/shuffle.
3. Write a drabble related to each song that plays. You only have the timeframe of the song to finish the drabble; you start when the song starts, and stop when it's over.
4. Do ten of these and then post them.

Ten Tiva Drabbles

Girl Next Door – Saving Jane

She stared at her cell phone; it had gone to voice mail again.

He was probably with her.

Tony had been secretive lately; two cell phones, numerous calls and errands to run.

At first she thought that he was having complications from the Pneumonic Plague he had years ago but when she saw the photo on his laptop, she realised.

He had a girlfriend.

Which was probably why he had stopped coming to her house during the three months that Gibbs had been gone, which was why their relationship was now strained, which was why he didn’t answer her call just then.

Sighing, she grabbed her bag and left the empty squad room, trying to focus her thoughts on a different topic.

The Only One – Evanescence

He stared at her retreating form in the elevator.

She was going to Israel for a week and for some reason it bothered him.

Just like the time she had gone to Locke for comfort and not him, just like the time Langer was flirting with her. Just like the time today when he found the photo of her Israeli lover under a stack of folders on her desk.

He was jealous. And it was perfectly natural right??

Probably not...

Maybe he hadn’t given her a good enough reason to stay??

Slapping himself on the head, he turned back to the paperwork that was left in front of him.

Shot – The Rasmus

“Ziva!” Tony dived in front of her and collapsed onto the ground.

Ziva saw the shooter and fired off two rounds, seeing the man fall to the ground bleeding and lifeless.

She saw Tony unconscious on the ground and ran towards him, trusting Gibbs and McGee to take out the remaining shooters.

There weren’t that many anyway.

“Tony,” she shook his shoulder gently, “Tony, wake up please.”

He mumbled something incoherent and was silent again.

“Tony,” Ziva was nearly panicking now, “Dinozzo!”

“Yes boss.” Tony made a jerking movement as if he was about to sit up but couldn’t.

Ziva gave a sigh of relief, “Tony, are you okay?”

“I’m fine Zee-Vah.” He reverted back to his teasing ways.

He unzipped his NCIS jacket and she saw the bullet lodged in his flak vest, just above his heart.

“Gotta love these.” He said with a grin before she flung her arms around him in a hug.

Weight of the World - Evanescence

She sat at the side of the hospital bed anxiously twisting her wedding ring around. He had been in a coma for a few days now and wasn’t showing any signs of waking up.

“Tony,” she gently got up and entwined her fingers with his, using her other hand to smooth his hair, “I need you to wake up please.”

“Ziva,” Gibbs stood in the doorway, “You need to eat something.”

Ziva shook her head adamantly but after a brief glaring match with Gibbs she relented.

Bending down, she gently kissed Tony’s forehead, letting her lips linger for a brief second before leaving.

“He’ll be fine.” Gibbs gave her shoulder a gentle squeeze and she left.

Zhi Dui Ni You Gan Jue – Fahrenheit and S.H.E

She was jealous, they had been dating for a month and here he was, flirting with the waitresses they were interviewing.

She knew that it was his way of getting information but she couldn’t help getting jealous when one of them stuck her already ample chest out just a little bit more.

When they had finished questioning, he slid next to her, entwining her fingers with his.

“You’re not angry are you?” He asked her tentatively.

She shook her head, only half lying.

He cracked a smile and gave her a quick peck on the lips, lingering for just a split second and earning glares from the waitresses.

“Good.”

Ai De Wang Dao – Fahrenheit

She was staring out the window in the squad room at the night sky. It was speckled with stars and the crescent moon shone down on them.

It had been a long case and they were the only ones left in the squad room, Gibbs had told them not to leave until they had finished their paperwork. Obviously it was not getting done any quicker.

Quietly, he crept up behind her and wrapped his arms around her.

“It’s beautiful.” She said to no-one in particular.

“Just like someone I know.”

She turned to smile at him, a faint blush creeping up her cheeks, “Thank you Tony.”

“I made the ninja chick blush.” He said jokingly before kissing her so she didn’t hurt him for his comment.

Fruta Fresca – Carlos Vives

He knew that she had taken dance classes as a little girl; she had mentioned it a few times in his presence.

But he didn’t know that she was this good at dancing, they were in a salsa club downtown and she was dressed in a slinky purple satin dress with her long hair tumbling free down her back.

Around and around the dance floor they danced, never breaking eye contact and not one of them faltering even though they’ve never danced with each other before.

He saw the faint smile creeping up on her lips and gave her a dazzling grin; she couldn’t help but smile widely back, laughing slightly as he nearly stumbled.

He twirled her a few times and heard the music starting to fade, once it had finished, he dipped her and saw the most gorgeous smile of all.

Crashed – Daughtry

He couldn’t stop thinking about her.

He had met her only moments before and he couldn’t stop thinking about her.

The air of mystery, the way she had teased him, the way her headband had made her look innocent, the way her curls had fallen out of her pony tail.

Kate had died and yet he couldn’t stop thinking of the stunning Israeli who had come to defend Ari, the one who had killed Kate.

What was wrong with him?

Counting Stars – Sugarcult

He stood on the deck of the Reagan every night and stared at the stars; ignoring the salty sea air and everything else around him.

For some reason it helped him to cope with Jenny’s death and being sent onto a boat – correction, ship. It helped him to remember their last moments and a promise that she would call and keep in contact.

She hadn’t broken that promise, he had.

It helped to think that she probably saw the same stars and the same sky, unless she had become one of them.

He shook the last thought out of his head and made his way back to his quarters.

She was alive and well, and staring at the same stars.

Collide – Howie Day

He gently woke to sunlight filtering through his windows.

Still half awake, he looked around his surroundings and saw her asleep next to him with a soft smile forming on her lip.

Gently, he kissed her on the cheek and he saw the smile grow.

With a yawn, she stretched and awoke.

“Hey,” she looked up at him, her head resting on her elbow.

“Hey,” he replied, and captured her lips with his.

“I could wake up like this every day and die a happy man.”

She rolled her eyes at his cheesiness but couldn’t conceal the smile on her face.

A/N: I don't actually understand Fruta Fresca (I don't speak Spanish) but I thought it would be a cool song to dance to so yeah...
