“What do you want, Carl?” His shadow was apparently interrupting Dodie’s sunbathing. As, such to his dismay, she was covering herself up.

“I would like to borrow your car, Dodie. Mine’s busted.”

“What? Couldn’t you have borrowed Ginger’s?”

“No. She’s out grocery shopping. Besides yours has the awesome stereo system that you know that I really like.”

“Fine.” Dodie pointed toward the house. “The keys are by the refrigerator. On the Hello Kitty keychain.”

“Thanks, Dodie. I appreciate it.”

“Goodbye, Carl.” She was practically growling.

Carl left, grinning to himself.

He hadn’t known that Dodie sunbathed in the nude.
