Chapter 1

Prologue Part One

Flashback four months ago:

"Mrs. Stackhouse, why are you firing me? I have nothing to do with my father's break out."

"I'm sorry Lexie. You're a nice girl and all, but I can't let you baby sit Elizabeth anymore. I don't want her around you."

"He doesn't know where I live now. I moved after he got arrested. It's safe."

"I can't chance it. I'm sorry but I'll send you the check for the month by Friday."

Present day:

'That was four months when my life went upside down. But to tell you the truth, my life started going down hill a year before that happened. The night my father got arrested for killing the Vice President's brother. My father's name is Lincoln Burrows. And I am nothing like him. That is why I left, my brother LJ might say different, but I left. I didn't run away. I had to get away.'
