to face the music
i cannot
pull me out and root me
to the spot
but i will escape run hide flee
someway
behind iron bars with metal chains
--clink clink--
smells like death and filth
pain sorrow resignation
i will not stay
confrontations i cannot handle
prefer the easy life
too troublesome
to try and actually make things right
better just adapt

but you i care about above the stars
anything for golden hair
laughing eyes-like-sea
pull me away from drifting life
of nothing
more trouble than ever
for you the music i can face
