Forks clinked against china as the group of people ate, chatting aimlessly of the day's events and of the plans for the next day.

"Now now everyone. Let's try to have a nice civil dinner for once." Kaname spoke lazily from the head of the table, stealing food from Zero's plate. Zero looked up at him, a half scowl on his face as he watched the food get eaten.

"Hey....I was gonna eat that." he said, pointing at the empty fork in Kaname's hand. Ichiru laughed and held out his plate.

"You can have mine Zero-nii. I'm full." Kaname looked over as Zero took the food off the plate, eating it happily.

"...You didn't eat very much Ichiru." his voice softened and the younger twin looked up at Kaname. "Was the food not to your liking?"

"It was delicious Kaname-sama. I enjoyed it very much."

"Are you not feeling well?" Kaname questioned, worry passing over his calm face for a breif moment.

"I am fine. Just not very hungry right now." As Ichiru finished his reply, he smiled and Kaname patted his hair softly. "Although I think I shall retire for tonight. I wish to take a bath and I am afraid of getting lost so what better time to learn my way around?" there were laughs around the table as he stood and walked out of the room. Zero looked up, but grabbed his plate and continued eating. Kaname's gaze shifted over to the male stuffing his face and he cleared his throat.

"...." Zero gulped loudly and looked up. "Yes Kuran-sama?" The table went silent, looking up at Kaname Kuran with curious eyes. Kaname looked over and smiled at the table of people.

"Please continue eating and enjoy your meal. I bid you all good night and pleasant dreams," the brunette stood up. "Come along Zero. I need to speak with you." Zero stood up and bid everyone a hasty good night before following his master out. They walked in comfortable silence, side by side, their hands brushing occasionally and sending fire throughout their bodies.

The soft gentle tapping of knuckles on his door broke him out of his thoughts.
