In the Ghost Zone, a young ghost was talking to Desiree. “I don’t know about this, mother.” She said. “I mean, you wouldn’t understand because you’re not my real mom, you’re my adopted ghost mom.”

“But I live to help all beings, human and ghost with they’re desires.” Desiree pointed out.

“I know, but I’ve heard you could also make things into a mistake.” The girl said. She had long, black hair and was in a white dress with a black stripe across the center. She had white boots and black tights on. Her eyes were green. “I just don’t know if I can trust you with this secret.”

“I promise, I won’t let any other ghost know.” Desiree said. “Tell me, dear Jennifer, what troubles you?”

“First off, don’t call me ‘dear Jennifer’, you aren’t my real mom.” She pointed out.

“Sorry. Go on.”

“I just feel like I haven’t lived my life. And I miss my family so much.” She explained. “Sure, Ember’s concerts have been fun, but it’s not like going to a concert with some friends. But I don’t want to haunt my family and any friends I want to make. But at the same time, I need some way to protect myself from bad guys, both human and ghost alike.”

“Excuse me, miss.” A little girl, about twelve was behind her. She had white hair tied in a ponytail and was in a black and white battle outfit. “If you go to the human world again, I know someone who can help.”

“Don’t tell me you’re thinking…” Desiree started.

“My cousin, yes.” The girl said.

“How will I know I can trust him?” Jen asked.

“He’s friendly and he knows what it’s like.”

Jen turned to Desiree. “What am I going to do?”

“I’ll strike a deal with you. I’ll give you you’re human form back.”

“Thanks, but something tells me there’s a catch.” Jen said.

“You’ll still have you’re powers, but they may be unstable.” Desiree said.

“I just wish I was human again!” Jen screamed.

“As you wish.” Desiree said.
