The Broken Doll

Tangled mass of locks and curls

Shriveled up in messy swirls.

Eyes of blue, so void of life;

Mirroring every death and strife.

Porcelain skin destroyed from grief.

Dead eyes searching for relief.

Movements so slow and so cracked.

The vision of a body slacked.

Lack of feeling through the veins

to fill the space from the pains.

Liquid shots to ease it all;

The broken doll about to fall.

A misery to feel alone.

A foul expression turned to stone.

Pills and drinks to disappear

The things that she has once held dear

Silence in the empty room;

The echoing of foretold doom.

A whisper that eggs her on;

She's almost done, almost gone.

The broken doll is on the floor.

Never shall she speak no more
