We are now done with chapters 1 and 2!

When I started I had never posted my work before and I didn't have a beta reader. Many of you probably wondered about the 'upside down' German quotation marks, and there are still a few spelling mistakes of the kind that no spell-check program will catch up on.

Since those first days I have become a lot more fussy with these things and it makes me sad to think some people will refrain from reading the story because of my early blunders.

Since I'm already working on it, I have started to rewrite some parts of those early chapters. I'm NOT changing the plot, but I will fill out some scenes with more details and work over the wording. I was rather in a hurry when I started and it sometimes shows.

Since the sequel is still in progress I want the story to remain on this side in its full length. I will replace the chapters as we finish them. I will then give out an alert, by posting a note. If you are not interested in getting noticed, just delete this story from your story alerts. But since there are some readers who only want to read the revised and corrected chapters I need a way to let them know.

If you are reading the sequel 'The Heart's Desire', and are worried that this project will slow down my updating frequency, don't be. Working on this story is rather a way to get my muse up and running, than a distraction. :)

I'm hoping to be able to post the 5th chapter for 'The Heart's Desire' before I'll go on holiday next weekend. Keep your fingers crossed I'll do the best I can!
