Chapter 1-Reunion

Disclaimer: Sadly I don’t own Final Fantasy but I have seen it. I might make some mistakes so some help would be nice.

“Ding! Ding! Ding” It was finally summer and school was out. Raven ran out of the building and looked around for the bus. Smack! She looked into a pair of icy-blue eyes. The boy had icy-blue eyes and blond hair that looked like it had been bleached. She rubbed her head as he helped her up. Her face, pale and dull, brightened as someone walked up behind him.

The bell rang and I walked out of Soldier High. I looked around for Zach, like always. Smack! I looked down to see who I ran into this time. I saw a girl with raven-black hair down to her waist. One of her eyes was brown and the other was bleu-grey. She was frantically looking for something and when she found it she blew on it and put in her brown eye. Now both her eyes were bleu-grey. She wore contacts. She was wearing a denim skirt with white leggings and a black and white shirt. I reached down and helped her up. “Are you all right? I’m sorry. I wasn’t watchin-“She looked just like Zach, except she had contacts. “What’s your name?”

“Sorry. I’m all right. I should have been paying attention. My name is Raven-Michelle Fair. What’s your name?” There was confusion and pride in her voice. “Wow. Do you have a brother? My name is Cloud Strife. Are you new? I haven’t seen you around.” “I’ve been going here since I was a freshman. Our schedules must have been different; I was in senior classes, except math. I have a twin brother named Zachary Fair; I am not supposed to know about him.” She had a sad look on her face and was in a trance. About five seconds later she snapped out of it, shaking her head. “Do you have any siblings?” She caught me off guard. “Y-yes. Three. All brothers. Zach is more of a brother than they are. Their names are Kadaj, Yazoo, and Loz.”

“Ding! Ding! Ding!” “Yes! School’s out! I’m going to be a sophomore! Maybe Cloud got held back.” Cloud was going to be a junior (poor me.)I got out my phone and started to text Cloud. “I get to see my sister!” I looked around and saw people staring at me. “Sorry! I’m just a bit wired!” I texted him OMG! I get 2 c my sis 2nite! Unless of course I get in trouble.” I started to walk to where we always meet. I saw him walking over with a girl. She had raven-black hair with a hint of blue, just like mine, straight down to her waist. I walked up behind Cloud and saw her face for the first time.

We both gasped at the same time. “Birdie!” “Zachy!” “Oh My God!” “How are you?” “Fine. You?” ”STOP YELLING!”

Author P.O.V

“Sorry, Cloud. I haven’t seen him since I was six years-old. Now I am going to be a junior. What grade are you going to be in Zach?” “Uhh. I’m going to be a sophomore. Our birthday would have already made us a grade lower and I flunked 7th grade. “Wow.” She cracked up. “What’s so funny?”

“N-n-nothing. Ha! Ha! Ha!”

“Ok, your right. I’m sixteen and a grade lower than my twin. Ugh!”

“I skipped two grades and flunked 10th grade.”

“Hey, we should have a night out so we can get to know each other better”

“That’s a wonderful idea. How ‘bout the Pizza Parlor at 6:00?”

“Deal. Do you want me to pick you up? Zach? Raven?”

“Yes. Thanks, Cloud. I pick you up next time.

“Yeah, yeah, whatever you say, Zach.”

Raven P.O.V

“No, thank you. I live three blocks from there, so I might run there. Do you mind if I bring some friends to meet you two?” I put on the pleading look that I gave my mother when I wanted something even though I never got it. Cloud and Zach at the same time and said, “I guess.”

“But they had better be cute.”

“Shut up, Zach. Don’t scare her with your wild mind.”
“It’s ok. My mom’s ‘boyfriend’ has the same wild mind.” I had a hint of sarcasm in my voice. “Cool. My dad’s girlfriend looks like you. Ooo! Maybe we should set them up on a double date so our parents will fall in love a gain and we won’t have to be separated.” Beep. Beep. Beep. Raven’s pager was going off. “Ugh! Why can’t I just have a phone?! Gotta go. My pager number in 838-9484. Zach, give me your number so I can tell you if I can or not. Please?!” I was trying to annoy him. “Alright, Alright! 579-703-5269. Need an answer by 5:00. I’ll tell Cloud if you can or not. See ya.”
