Vincent P.O.V

Oh god, Cloud is heavy. This is the second time I have had to carry him. Jessi was barely keeping up. She was really cute, though. Maybe I can try to get them to break up, wait, bad idea, Cloud would not be my friend, and she would absolutely hate me. We finally reached the top and Jessi stumbled forward. Patrick, Zach, and Reno all moved to catch her. She grabbed my back and tried to steady herself. Before she was completely steadied, she passed out. Zach caught her and saw her back. He and I gasped, and then Patrick started laughing. Reno looked really confused. “What’s so funny?” Yuffie looked kinda mad. She turned and glared at me. “Are you still mad at me? I didn’t mean to say that. I really miss you.” She stumbled forward and started to cry. I dropped Cloud and walked over to her. “Yuffie, I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have been like that. Did I hurt you?” She looked up and smiled, very sadly, though. “Physically or mentally?” I walked towards her. She ran towards me and buried her face in my chest. I stroked her hair and kissed the top of her head. “Both Yuffie, and be honest.” I hit her really hard when she said I only cared about myself. “My back is bruised and it hurt to breathe for almost a month. I still hurt inside about our fight and breaking up. I locked myself in my room for two months, listening to loud music and crying.” I flinched. Last time she locked herself in her room it was my fault as well. “I’m sorry Yuffie. How much do you hate me?” She let go and looked at me. “Right now, I love you too much to hate you. Do you think I can move back in with you? Please, Vincent, I want to get back with you and mend our relationship.” She started to cry and I held her closer.” Yuffie, I’m so sorry. I would love for you to move back in. I don’t want to hurt you anymore.”

Yuffie P.O.V

As soon as he apologized, I felt like crying again. Vincent was the only one who could make me feel like this. I miss him so, so much. “Yuffie, please stop crying. I did apologize. C’mon, I won’t hurt you anymore. I will take care of you like I promised, Yuffie, I still love you.” I looked at him for a minute, and then looked down. “Just give me a few minutes.” I grabbed my glider and ran towards the edge of the mountain. “Yuffie, wait!” I turned and Jessi ran towards me. “Hey, mind if I join you? I have a few questions.” I nodded and grabbed her hand. “Jessi, hold this end.” She grabbed it and turned to look at Cloud. He was starting to cry and when I looked aback at Jessi, she was already crying. When I looked at Reno, he had an alarmed look on his face. Jessi tugged at me and we jumped. “Jessi!” Reno looked down at us. I looked at Jessi and she was very slowly starting to let go. Reno was still watching us, mainly Jessi. Suddenly, I was falling faster, Jessi had let go. I looked down and she was doing flips. Reno started to climb down the side. I looked down and Jessi was standing on the ground, watching me. I landed and stared. “Is there anything you would like to tell me?” She stared past me at Reno and ran to him.

Jessi P.O.V

I ran to Reno and hugged him. Cloud and Vincent came down and Pat jumped. “Jessi, are you insane? You could have killed yourself!” I walked over to Cloud. “You shouldn’t have asked me out. You know nothing about me. I think we should break up.” He stared at me. “Fine, Jessi, fine. It’s over, done. I don’t even know what I saw in you-you-you selfish, spoiled son of a -.” Patrick covered his mouth and Vincent came down with Zach. My eyes got wide and Reno pulled me away.

Reno P.O.V

“Jessi, I don’t think he meant i-.” She stopped me with her finger and nodded. “Reno, he meant every word. Can we go now?” I nodded and pulled her on my back. We climbed up and she got off. I slowly went up and down getting all my “friends”. I got up with Cloud, finally, and Jessi was gone. Yuffie was hugging Vincent, Patrick was banging his head on a tree, and Zach was trying to calm him down. “Where is Jessi?” Yuffie went into the forest and came back with Jessi. Jessie’s eyes were swollen and red. Her beautiful black eyes stood out against her red face. I was helping Cloud stay standing and I let him fall, “Ow, Reno, that hurt!” I rolled my eyes walked over to Jessi. “Jessi, how can I make this pain stop? What did Genesis do? How did he make it stop?” She looked at Cloud and ran to hug me. “Reno, he sent me into a battle. It won’t work this time because I was angry, pissed if you must say it that way. Now I am scared, sad. Kadaj called those same exact things.”

Cloud P.O.V

I didn’t want to break up with her; I just told her how sweet and beautiful Tifa is. Holy shit, that’s why she broke up with me, “Jessi, I am so sorry! I didn’t mean that. Please, Jessi, I still love-.” I looked at her face and felt very guilty. It was red and swollen. Her black eyes stood out. She looked up at me and let go of Reno. Jessi walked over to me and kicked my shin. “Cloud, I still love you so I will give you one more chance.” That hurt but at least she forgave me. “I promise, Jessi, I promise never to hurt you like that again. All I was doing was complimenting your friend. You chose the best friend you could ever have, Jessi. Tifa really cares about you.” I pulled her close and kissed her.

Jessi P.O.V

I’m back with Cloud! I was about to tell him about Kadaj hurting and fighting with me. My words were stopped by Cloud’s lips crushing mine and holding me like he would never see me again. When Cloud stopped kissing me, he brushed the hair out of my face and kissed my teary eyes. “I know about Kadaj, Reno told me. I need to show you something.”
