Here’s the final part of this story.
During the night, the kids began to build something and this time, it’s a special surprise for their father. “We should are putting these sleds to good use,” said Jiro.
That morning, Lifty and Shifty plated with their train, until Jiro threw a bag full of gold coins. Lifty and Shifty were confused and looked at their next door neighbors. “Merry Christmas boys!” said Suki, waving at them. Later, Ash, Pikachu and Tekirai walked toward the kitchen and saw the kids and their breakfast.
“Look, we made you breakfast Dad,” said Hiroshi.
Ash looked happy, “Aw isn’t that nice? Hey, you should open presents.”
“No way dad, we gotta wait for the family to get here,” said Jiro as Ash stared at them. Son, Jiro opened the door, letting the family in.
“Merry Christmas everyone,” said Ami.
“Merry Christmas indeed,” Luster added.
“Don’t forget you kiss, grandma,” said Suki and she and the kids kissed her.
“Hey, what are they up to?” Ash asked.
“You kids are so wonderful,” Delia said, very happy. That evening, as Ami held the pat, the kids decided to help her.
“That one’s heavy,” said Hiroshi.
“Let us help you Mom,” Suki added.
“Why, isn’t that sweet. Thank you children,” said Ami. The kids placed the pan on the table and open the lid, instead of turkey; it’s ham.
“Oh, ham,” said Delia.
“Dad, would you like to carve?” Jiro asked.
“Something’s up for sure,” Ash mumbled.
“Nothing like us all gathering together,” said Hiroshi, eating.
“For a wonderful meal,” Suki added.
“It’s our most favorite part,” said Jiro and their Pokémon and the turkey nodded.
“My feeling exactly,” said Ami. After they finished dinner, the kids and their Pokémon sat on the table, waiting for Luster.
“How about some carols, Grandpa?” Hiroshi asked.
“Why kids, it’s like you can read my mind,” Luster walked toward the piano and began to play. The family, including the kids sang, but Ash butted in.
“What’s the big idea?” Ash picked them up with a stern look, “What are you kids up to?”
“Why Ash Ketchum, you’re spoiling a perfect Christmas!” said Ami.
“Pika!” Pikachu agreed.
“No, Dad is right; we are up to something,” said Jiro as he and the others dashed to the closet, pulling out a sled boat.
“Merry Christmas Dad!” they kids said as Ash stared at them.
“It’s your dream boat, Dad,” said Suki.
Ash smiled and hugged their sons and daughter, “Aw thank you kids.”
Delia began to cry, “Oh, how beautiful! Some Christmas this turn out to be! I’m just so happy!” Delia picked up Aiko and Hiro, using them to wipe her tears while Kenji laughed.
Ash smiled until he is pushed by Jiro. Ami is pushed by Hiroshi while Pikachu and Tekirai are pushed by Kenji and Aiko. The married couples stood by the fireplace as Hiro held the mistletoe. Ash, Pikachu, Ami and Tekirai smiled, until they finally kissed; this turn out to be the best Christmas ever. The whole family walked towards the tree and sang the carol, one more time as the falling star flew pass their house.
That morning, the kids are still asleep when Ash called, “Oh kids!” They woke up and looked worried if it’s Christmas again, but what they saw is Ash, Ami, Pikachu and Tekirai outside, waiting for them.
“Come give your father a push!” said Ami. The kids saw Shifty, throwing away the tree while Lifty began to clean up; it’s not the day after Christmas.
“It’s over! Christmas is really over!” Jiro cheered. Outside, the kids, Ami and Ash pushed the sled to the top of the hill as Pikachu and Tekirai sat in it.
“They day after Christmas!” said Suki.
“Aw, I understand kids, you wish it could be Christmas everyday,” said Ash.
“No!” the kids yelled.
“Pika/Pichu!” Kenji, Aiko and Hiro yelled as the kids pushed the boat, fast. Ash quickly jumped in and began to slide down the snowy slope. Suddenly, it didn’t last when the sled began to fall apart and Pikachu and Tekirai hung onto Ash’s legs.
“Oh no!” Ash screamed until he crashed. Ami and the kids saw that Ash has crashed into the snowman as Pikachu and Tekirai shook off the snow.
“So Christmas was meant to last, just one day and maybe it’s simple better anyway. It’s a time to be treasured it can’t always be here, but the feeling it gives us can last the whole year.”
Well, I hope you enjoyed it, especially you dannyfangirl, but do be careful what you wish for. Now the next chapter is a start for another of my best friend, Erin. Stay tuned.
