Zim leaned back, studying the Academy.

It was located on 'Flashogok', Capital Planet. A bustling planet with the smells of lots of species and lots of buildings, and the acidic tang of water vapor. Beside him, MALIK reached over and straightened his uniform. He shot her an irritable look, then decided to just ignore it. He pulled out his Invader medallion and put it on.

"Well," he said, "here I go." He turned to MALIK, saluting. "Good luck, Mik. Take good care of Minimoose and GIR." They had both decided that the only possible way to proceed was to send MALIK back to Star Command, doing anything else would draw severe suspicion. GIR would be put into sleep mode and kept in a storage facility, and Minimoose had been equipped with cloaking technology taken from Zim's old Megadoomer- his job would be reconnisance.

She nodded, saluting as well, and turned to leave.

Zim turned back to the Academy building. He flashed it a toothy grin. "Say hello to the beginning of the end, Star Command," he said, striding inside, and in doing so, leaving his old life forever.
