Gingerbread House

Zeppelins flying high
High, high in the sky,
A whole world different
To yours,
Or mine.

A familiar face smiling
From a bus stop ad
I’m so confused;
To be happy, or sad?
That’s he’s here, not there
With me,
Or happy he’s here,
Where I happen to be.

“A whole new universe,” my heart’s desire says,
“Gingerbread house.”
